Shrimad Ramayan daily episode discussion thread (12/7/24)

Daily Episode Discussion Threads will be created and maintained by the DT every day. The previous EDT's will be locked, but you can access these threads by clicking the "episode discussion" tag below the title of the thread.

Please keep discussions limited to the episodes of that day as far as possible. Some references to previous episodes can be allowed for the sake of viable discussions.

Okay, here I go.

When Hanuman came in search of Maata, he was unable to find her anywhere. But here, Maata can see Ravan in his balcony and vice versa. Also, every rakshashhhh on his way to battle field goes via Ashok Vatika. Except Atikaay, looks like he didn't get the memo. Yeh aise kaise? The Kumbhakarn - Maata scene, I was worried for a second he would fold his hands and apologize on his brother's behalf

Meghu ki toh baat hi matt karo. Pata nahin kitni baar havan karake same old comical rath paayega.

When two people are fighting, why does the entire sena become spectators? Bhai, aisa kaunsa yuddh hota hai Sab cheerleaders bann jaate hai, and there's not a single soldier in sight. KK was killed the way he was to avoid soldiers getting crushed, yahaan toh poora maidaan khaali tha, ek chinti bhi nahin thi

How is Lord Ram shooting an arrow at Atikay when he was already fighting with Lakshman not adharma? Sometimes I really wait for Lord Shriram to start a bhashan on ahimsa Yaar, this is war not a satyagrah.

Kya dikha rahe hai?

The OG Ramayan that came more than 30 years ago is far far superior even in terms of technology. The VFX used in here is a joke. Forget technology, at least props toh properly use karo. The chariots are so basic and Atikay's chariot horses were not even of same size. The slacking strings of bows irritates me the most - I'm saying this again though I may sound like a broken record.

Agreed ITV show hai, lekin they are unable to meet even the basic of the expectations.

KK wadh in 1.5 days, Atu wadh in 1.5 days, aur dekh lena Agni Pariksha will be stretched for two weeks.

I keep saying apun ko story pata hai

Infact long long long long long time back ( I m making it seem I m from treta yug 😂😂😂 which i m not)

So that long back before rs ramayan a film has come. I can't remember the name krishna ya mahabhart Idont know

But the actor who played Sri Krishna was abhi bhattacharya and unka character that time was done so well I was intrigued and I wanted to see a sort of visual from treta yug era

As of now I keep saying makers kuch bhi apna vision dikhate hai

Lag gaya toh well and good if not no loss to them. Thoda gaaliya sunenge and move on karenge

Thats what all viewers after ranting move on karo

About chacha I said same thing

For a second i also thought same ki he will do pranam but he gave sad smile only

Exactly my point! That makes it harder to watch it like any other ITV show. With the way this show started, they've had a downfall in everything - the vision, the VFX, the dialogues . It's only (few) actors who've got it up and running, how much ever that might be.

I was only trying to lighten up here. Show ka butchering toh bahut pehle ho chuka hai .. so bas either we laugh at the way show has turned into comedy or just .....

It's not just the ramayan. It's almost same with any show. Fiction or non fiction
