It's more of a fear than mistrust I believe. I agree this whole thing is unnecessary and forced. Emaan went for nasta and she was supposed to go with family, why alone? Then leads to this. It's like writer just wanted angst track, nothing else.

Arsalan's acting was very bad today.I just want Zain to disappear from the show now

I think it’s unnnatural for a spouse to not doubt another in the situation shown in the episode today. If Iman is to find Salar in a similar situation with his ex, she wouldn’t be wrong to have some doubts. Truly if Iman wanted, she could’ve avoided going. This is not in line with her character. She’s strong enough to say no and stand ground. Faulty writing. They should’ve shown her going out of kindness/sympathy towards someone she had once loved rather than force.

To me, the doubt doesn’t compromise Salar’s character. Now if he doesn’t bounce back after hearing Iman’s side and seeing her missed calls/messages then it becomes a problem.

I’m looking forward to the next episodes. Hope we see angst on both sides

“Iman jao” was sooooo unnecessary. Total masculine flex. Not needed and not in line with Salar’s character. Aur agar aisa bolna hi tha to at least uske daant Tod ke aata. It made no sense

I don’t appreciate such “reducing the heroine to damsel in distress” tropes
