Anirudh Helping someone in need , even if means it’s hurting his loved ones… we all fell in love with this anirudh nose who helped a poor orphan girl. Now that he is raising his voice for Arshi , demanding justice it’s hurting us because well for obvious reasons! When he helped jhanak, he hurt his family members even his parents and his fiancé who he was in relationship with for six long years. We never questioned that time , how can he defend Jhanak a stranger at cost of his fiancé and his family’s emotions … because he was doing the right thing and if was working in our favor , we liked it. But now we question it… so again him blaming Jhanak and going as far as willing to punish her , is it really character assassin? Or is it really old vs new ani… Before it was costing him his relationship with his family , and his fiancé , now it is costing him his relationship with Jhanak! So he has justice ka keeda! God of justice ! Just like jhanak is goddess lf mahanata… this explains to me where there was no “Hichak” in his voice when he said j will pay for her crimes !

It does sound easy, but when you actually go through tons of emotions with a couple you idealize then our reactions are pretty obvious and some what reasonable. We want perfection and if not perfect film, at least balance and that’s what missing in Jhanak land. We don’t mind twist, but things has to balance for us. 😅

I agree. I am also waiting to see what he does. I know deep in his heart that monologue was about J stopping the wedding (a twisted thought !!) in that manner just so that it doesn’t happen… but but do we really need to now disregard the direct meaning of the dialogue to understand Anirudh Bose. He is capable of doubting J. He has doubted her character before. But like you said we haven’t been served full track yet, so I am keeping an open mind about it. If he doesn’t do anything stupid in the upcoming track and actually shows his faith in J , I will say he has learned from his past mistakes… but if he actually says something that directly implies he has 1% doubt in J I would say he hasn’t learned his lesson yet.

I have taken him down from the “Maha Purush” crown that I had given him in my head to a regular “human being” … so I am willing to see his gray colors! Humans make mistakes , the import thing is you learn from that and improve, and that’s what makes you a good person. I am willing to do that for Ani if he doubts jhanak again. Because I will see that as shade of gray in him , and won’t feel betrayed by his actions and words. He is allowed to make mistakes and also allowed to be forgiven by me when he makes up for it.

What I don’t want to do is ignoring his actions and words , meaning taking different meaning out of what is being shown to us by “wahiyat” writing and expect rainbow and flowers and then also get hurt when it’s not served…

Here Arshi is really hurt, and presumably bcoz of J. Only Shrishti knows that this is not true. (on the side note: I cant believe her confidence. Does she actually think that J mauqe ka faida uthaya and Arshi ki taraf diya ko dhakel diya. She always believed pro max that J has bad intentions in spite of no rational evidence.)

There is a possibility that Arshi also knows (front seat audience) the actual truth, that her mother wanted to harm J but it back fired, hence she is in shock. Maybe she is angry at her mother. Ani talked to her, counsellers did, but we havent yet seen mother-daughter convo. Will she respond to her mother who actually caused her wedding and profession!

I believe Chotton also witnessed it, but he is afraid to speak up, because of his standing in the family. When DidiMuni consoled J, he gathered that she has seen it as well. Chotton can believe that Shrishti can hurt J, but DidiMuni cannot fathom what she saw was actually possible, hence she withdrew herself. Initially when Chotton defended J in front of his mother, it seemed that Minton had discussed it. But yday's epi it was clear that they didn't, so assuming that Chotton witnessed it as well.

Another aspect of Ani doubting J:

"bcoz J wanted to stop the wedding" there was a glimmer of hope, but he immediately stopped, considering what it implied. I don't think he was actually doubting J. All the statements (support of Arshi or against J) are mere statements not his feelings. Not even 0.000001% doubt, just nannha sa dil wanting his heart's desire for her to stop the wedding.

Yes he wants justice for Arshi. But it also implies deep faith that J is not the culprit. Stating again anything from Ani are mere statements not his feelings. All his life he has been acting according to J and he knows how to give a performance that no one will know which is real, in his monologue!

I still believe in his deep love for J. Everything is for J and about J. A story is not in an incomplete precap or 1-2 episodes, let the whole sequence play out before calling it quits.

I agree. I am still not able to grasp and accept the new Anirudh we are watching with a heavy heart. It’s a challenge but I am not willing to think that this man isn’t the same man who does accordingly in the way to Jhanak’s benefit only whether to scream at her, being rude or be gentle towards her side. His life will only revolve around J!

But again the way writers are advancing the story with a lot of confusion is what boiling my blood. There is no clarity. Woh toh bhala ho humara that we are keeping ourselves sane by discussing in more details, going back and forth to pick relevant incidents and traits that were introduced to us in the beginning and combining them to the current state, finding possibilities of how certain ways these characters are behaving and then consoling ourselves that everything will be fine at its own time. But general audience outside of our platform don’t discourse the what ifs and reasons. So for them it’s easy to judge and quit if they need to causing a crash in trp. That’s where my concern comes in. It’s the writers responsibility to maneuver the story in a decent manner where we can understand and accept.

I agree with you ! And I went through this process in my head because I was feeling betrayed and hurt ! Why should I go through that kind of crap for a show?

I have been there the emotional state … and I am trying to get out of it! Because it’s simply not healthy!

I have figured out that we aren’t going to be served the flowers and rainbows love story! But I fell in love with the actors and their work … I want to see them on screen but in a healthy way! 😅

If we keep aside what Arshi has done to Jhanak and all of horrible things that J went through because of her and Bose family, Anirudh helping her isn’t inaccurate thing because he doesn’t know what happened prior to the incident. However , as audience since everything is visible to our eyes, we try to judge the characters based on what we see vs what the characters witness. So we feel betrayed and furious. And as audience we know who the “bad guys” and so we become agitated when our heroes shown dumb and inconsistent. We don’t put ourselves into their shoes and then feel whether actions legit or not. But that’s how the soaps work right? We shift our minds based on how the drama unfolds, but for writers, it’s more like to tell us to have patience because without twist and turns there is no story which leads forward.
