so much that now we feel that meaningful words like Marriage and love do not hold any significance in this show.

It is treated as a joke!

As viewers, it is not our responsibility to find difference between Oh what that one I love you means vs the other I love you lol!

and then he also wants to send J to jail forever for attempted murder charges if she is proven guilty, he says this without any "hichak" or second thoughts... someone who he claims to love so much and claims he cannot live without her! If J is in jail for half of her life, how is he going to live for those years? 🤔 makes you wonder does it, lol ? 🤷🏻‍♀️ I get it you want someone to pay for their crimes but would you not have that "hichak" when you say that or feel bad when you think about it... they are not showing that ...

I now also want to give weightage to his words, apart from expressions! Words are how we communicate ... they mean something

His "I Love you" z have no significance for me!

We have heard so many flavors now...

I love you to Arshi before were real, then there were fake ones

I love you to J was real , he said he cant live without her but then he also says J should serve a prison sentence without any "hichak" in his voice

I love you to Arshi to show J

and then the latest one

I love you Arshi and I will keep loving you forever ... this also felt real whatever his motivation was... we just want to decipher it as he was trying to get a reaction from Arshi and whatnot.. but lol I saw glimpse of Ani from the episode one in that and also from his conversations later on...

these traits that I notice, i don't want to ignore them anymore. Something he will have to think about and correct in his future! He cant bantofy "I love you"s like this! 🙄

well, he enjoys when I am galofying the character on screen

Now that I am rethinking both Jhanak and Anirudh's characters...

I wonder this ...

Anirudh's habit of not trusting Jhanak. Anirudh thought "did Jhanak do this to stop the wedding" .. in short doubting her even if it was 1% it does not matter... this was not a new thing. We should not have been as surprised by it. He has a history of not trusting Jhanak ex. Aditya Kapoor's case, trusting Shristi words regarding Rahul over Rahul and Jhanak's. So him thinking this about J, was it really his character assassination?

Anirudh says things that can mean a lot more to someone else and can say it casually without any difficulty and can lie about it as well, such as " I love you". When he says I love you to Arshi, it means a lot more to her than him. He has faked his feelings for her. We just did not think much of it, because we all hated Arshi and we thought he would come to his senses sooner or later. He is confused and divided about his feelings for two women. Given this trait, it also makes me think sometimes, he said I love you to Jhanak on the train as well... if he wanted to he could have said it right there and then more loudly. But he did not, let Jhanak go...

If not for Tejas he was ready to let her go from the very beginning. So him saying I love you to Arshi after that heartfelt confession to Jhanak in Kashmir, was it character assassination?

treating marriage like a relationship as a joke and taking all the rituals for granted...This is something common between Jhanak and Anirudh. They both treated marriage as a joke. Both decided to marry someone else even though they were married. Did not think about the other person's feelings that they are going to get married to. Then should it come to us as a surprise when they did not accept their marriage and let it end so easily?

What we like to think of as character assassination is that just part of their character? I believe it is. We just did not accept it for one or other reason as we love them and did not want to accept it!
