He shook hands wid DJ later on nd revealed her secret of coming back to Mahajan house, so she broke up wid him when DB was abt to announce their marriage.

Yes Kartik and Kabir were supposed to be Karna parallels and the writers ruined both the characters splendidly....that requires special talent

Yaa right his character had became annoying but he was kind of grey shade not totally negative like they unnecessarily showed him giving up on things for yuvika like Canada opportunity and those unnecessary expensive gifts. And then suddenly teams up with dj seemed like they didn't had a proper plan to end kartik's character and yuvika literally gave him zero importance
