Are people not aware that Ajay, Rohit Shetty and Tabu are buddies since their college days ? Lol. I thought it was common knowledge.

Also, it's not surprising because all 3 are insiders. Ajay and Rohit's fathers are sons of action directors Veeru Devgan and M.B Shetty, while Tabu is Shabana Azmi's niece.

Rohit was also assistant director on Ajay's debut film, Phool Aur Kaante (1991).

Tabu debuted opposite Ajay in Vijaypath (1994). Basically Ajay suggested his friend´s name because Divya Bharti (who signed the film originally) had passed away.
