Yeah, they didn't give enough insight into the multiple facets within Ani that undergo introspection simultaneously, focusing only on that aspect of him that is hurt by her rejection, thereby twisting the narrative on his character while masking the other more vulnerable and relatable parts of him, leaving it to our speculations. This makes us viewers sympathize less and less with him, which am not sure is what they want??
Ani is such a complex and dynamic character that Makers are wasting his charm this way.
