Best friend is a really far fetched person to come for Mauli's rescue or help but yes even if they can afford a distant cousin and especially a brother of a similar thinking as of Rahul, it would be really great to watch.

Also after some duration of inspection and drama they can marry Minni to this distant cousin with her own willingness and deliberate consent🤣🤭

Same! It hurts to see that she's the one receiving all the backlash but this is the unfortunate reality, and something Ajanta even warned her about. The writers could've shown this a different way to change perspectives but it's up to them.

At this point the only person who can stand up for Mauli is Mauli. She needs to find that inner courage.
