So what is Ani thinking? What does he want?

He will marry Arshi. J will live in an appartment in Calcutta and he will visit her there? For life they will have a strong emotional but not physical connect. For his sake, J will not marry anyone ever, while he lives with Arshi an his kids.

Its one thing to say he is doing this for J. He has not even thought it through. Ani is real? what real person today when in love with a person that too apparently madly, will ever think a setup like this can work.

Apparently Ani does not even know what society will think of her and him if they enact this setup. J should value him over society and be with him forever. He has never once said ILU in his senses, never asked her if she will stay as his wife, never tried to correct his family while they insult her, he wants J to look at him and understand what he is saying and reciproacte his love. All this when he has a silver tongue while speaking to Arshi.

The biggest point is Ani is assuming J loves and wants him. What if she is acting like she does not understand because she does not want this. And isnt true love unselfish. So if he is so sure J loves him, then no excuse for not being able to say ILU to her strongly right?

The reason there is so much discussion is bcos the whole scenario is illogical and will never happen in the real world.

Also remember, the early days when her drink was spiked, she said - you come and yell at me and then you say sorry.

When he is with Arshi he has always been a different person to her, and then behind Arshi something else.

One thing that stood out for me.

When Ani asked can toofan come and snuff everything out...J says - you and Arshi didi are both strong and rooted in your decision to marry. It was her belief than no one can split them.. thats because she has seen time and again, no matter what Ani and Arshi have never broken off their relationship.
