While I really do like the sound of this and totally agree with everything you say, I am generally not a fan of long leaps in Rishta atleast!! but a short 2 odd years I wouldn't really mind!! Clear your heads, out the past behind, grow up (pretty please) and when you meet, be more sorted, be more in control of your own lives rather than trying to fix others'.

But in saying all that, my ITV experience tells me what we'll get is Abhira back at Madhav's house and either accidentally finding out or being told by Madhav about Armaan's mother's past and Abhira's FL antenna spiking up to want to fix Armaan's life! I don't mind for it to happen but perhaps it really can wait for that leap (if it is even on the horizon) and pave way for Abhira's re-entry into Armaan's life even!

At this stage though, Armaan should really shut himself up enough to introspect, realise and clear his head to find answers for the way ahead. As should Abhira..

The current situation is extremely messy and it's heart breaking to see both of them suffer. The upcoming segments are riling me up. How conveniently Ruhi blamed Abhira for the mess she created. Armaan and Ruhi are both at fault for whatever happened with Rohit. But its disheartening to see that only Armaan is facing it's consequences.

Now coming back to your post, i agree they need some time apart from each other and especially Armaan from his family. But i don't think it's going to happen. They have many tracks they have to explore before taking a leap. Leaps usually come when the writers run out of tracks.

I feel like the current track is all about Armaan's redemption (curious to see how are they going to do that). As many people already pointed out that Armaan's apology was lacking depth. He still wasn't able to understand what Abhira went through, so he really needs to go through the same level of heartbreak to fully comprehend Abhira's situation. This time hopefully after crying for few days he will understand what Madhav was trying to tell him about standing up against Kaveri.

A KP - the last time around, Abhira’s mother got onto a bus ..let Armaan get onto a bus this time …and there he meets a pregnant lady who is all alone in the world ..he decides to travel with her since she needs help/ maybe she goes into labour ..a cute little baby girl is born and he names her Abhira ..maybe the mother dies in childbirth or maybe she’s still around .:.and a few years down the line, Abhira visits the same town for a case ..and meets Armaan and little Abhira

Edit - actually the case is against Armaan ..he is the defendant ..the plaintiff is the biological father of little Abhira ..his wife and he were estranged ..he has finally tracked them down and wants his child back ..Abhira is his lawyer .:and Armaan will argue his own case ..this way they’ll face each other in court too
