This is quite true honestly, not just in context of Hasmukh but in general aajkal ke buzurg.

There are exceptions of course, but most of them be like, achcha ye naya laye, hume to bataya hi nahi, hume to pucha hi nahi, ye decision liya aur hume bataya nahi.

Jab apne relatives ki baat aaye to Dhritrashtra ban jao, jab dusro ke relatives ki baat aaye to duniya bhar ka gyaan, pravachan jhaad do…like Maa does 😂

And best is their cribbing and unhappy behavior, kabhi khush nahi hote, har baat pe muh chadhake baith jao, almost like bina baat ke (sirf gharwalon ke saamne), bahar apne age ke logon se milke wohi same carefree happy behavior 😂

Chahe khud ne apne time mein full on enjoy kiya ho, but how dare aajkal ki generation plan a holiday, go for a vacation, kharcha, zimmedariya, ghar ke kaam, upcoming events, sab ki list bahar aa jati hai aur kuch nahi to ye suddenly bimar ho jaate hain😂

Have observed similar stuff around me, even in some close relatives have seen this. And it might sound rude or disrespectful but jab tak dabte raho, ye hota rehta hai, jab ek bar jawab do, dobara koi kuch nahi kehta.
Best is to become Gandhari with such Dhritrashtras 😂

when they are young they keep their mom-dad in village or other towns (like hasmukh leela chased of baadi baa to village) and enjoy their young adult life tilll kids grow big

than they boss over son, bahu, daughter (anupama), son in law(anuj) and grand kids and object to everything dressing, cooking, going out etc and no peace of mind for younger gen

and daughters are like anupama think dongi are really being abused and attack family members simply

emotional blackmail like hasmukh leela happens almost every house nowadays

Khud ne apne parents ko native main chod diya never take care and expect their kids to slave and obey them blindly and not allow to live their life in peace

hats off to vanraj patience for taking such parents crap all life

only once he kicked off leela out of home - that he did correct because leela abused and misbehaved with hasmukh in front of full moholla in diwali time and anuj took him to his home
