Longest time everyone! Been bored of the show of late but got renewed interest with the past two eps. My two cents:

I can’t tell how I feel about this. Ani was finally frank and I appreciated it so much. But now, he is not frank in the direction of breaking up with Arshi, but in the direction of marrying Arshi and having Jhanak as a mistress. It’s gutsy and the entire wrongness and immorality of it is actually gripping. I find myself shocked and wondering what his plans are. I thought he meant to put her in a seperate apartment but he’s taking her home. It reminds me of a Korean manhwa I read where the female lead’s father didn’t love her because she was the daughter of his wife. He was actually trying to kick her out of the company because he wanted his child from his ‘true love affair’ with his mistress to inherit the company. I’m getting that vibe over again. Is Ani going to be like that female lead’s father? Arshi is the wife and Jhanak is the ‘true love mistress’? I find myself interested in whether makers have decided to turn him into a man bedazzled into darkness by passion. It’s not too strange given that Ani is a man who is overly hypocritical to the point he could say he had no desires while finding ways to keep her with him. Now the mask has been torn off and Ani is just showing his real self. It’s dirty, it’s filthy, and it’s refreshing how he is no more trying to act like he is honest when he is the total opposite. However, we never know how many scruples the real Ani has…. In addition, I wonder if Jhanak would finally succumb to his intensity only to keep second guessing her whole life? Would she at one point back out and demand she deserves better? What’s going to be the arrangement with Arshi that ani is going to make? Look the other way to the affair and our kid would be my heir? Or outright blackmail her to ignore his actions? Or is it the other way and the affair would be hidden from everyone…the forbidden fruit is sweeter sort of thing? Or would makers decide that such moral upturn is too heavy for ITV and decide that Ani would break things with Arshi and announce Jhanak? But Ani doesn’t seem like he has that intent. It’s rather like he wants to be the sort of guy that goes to parties with Arshi but spends all birthdays with Jhanak. I’m excited about the characters’ future actions now but that would have paid off more if makers were good writers. But they aren’t and so this buildup would probably be wasted soon enough. We’ll see.

My interpretation of Ani’s dream:

I didn’t think what we saw in that dream was a manifestation of the standard married life for them. Far from it. Perhaps, it was because of the sequence of how things were shown…from him asking she stay by his side forever to having that dream. I interpreted that scene differently. I thought in that scene, he was imagining he and Jhanak when she accepts to be his lover/mistress….the scenes were hyper focused on Ani wooing/saying sweet things to Jhanak, so it seemed like a confirmation of his plans for her. Because there is no other way to interpret it. Ani isn’t saying no to marrying Arshi or denying that his request to Jhanak is too much, but he doesn’t care for decorum anymore. When she asked what society would say, he didn’t care and insisted, because he knows what he is proposing is scandalous. He even went ahead to say they could be in the same city even if she doesn’t come to the house. That’s the same as saying he can furnish an apartment for her as a rendezvous. Unless future episodes say otherwise, Ani doesn’t mind marrying Arshi as long as he can have Jhanak in some capacity. And it feels like he is not beyond using the marriage as leverage to force Arshi not to mind his affair. The genre is getting darker.

I try not to get excited because makers are bad writers….but what if Jhanak’s biggest obstacle (I’m getting deja vu of my earlier expectations) is not Arshi or Boses, but Ani? How much of an obstacle would it be to a successful career than being a mistress, even if it’s a beloved one? How much darker would the genre get, How much more wretched would Ani get when the woman he has successfully wooed internally and coerced other externally to keep by his side is getting more popular? Would Ani really be able to say he sincerely wants to push her out there? Won’t he rather try to sabotage her? Would Arshi, who is wife but in all real ways, isn’t for Ani, not try to manipulate Ani into being overly jealous and sabotage Jhanak’s career by himself? Because as far as I can tell, Ani is shallow and self absorbed to the point that he is the type of person that would marry Arshi and keep Jhanak if Arshi schemes into saying she has no feelings for him anymore and makes up some lie about ‘wanting to protect Jhanak’? Or have a fake wedding with Arshi (with her knowledge) and trick society that it’s real? I can see Arshi saying it’s for her and family honor and to protect Jhanak from

Scorn and she will pretend to divorce him in a while, so he can marry Jhanak because now people will say Jhanak stole her cousin’s fiancée..I can see Ani falling for that trap and thinking he can still have Jhanak, and when he ‘divorces’ Arshi, he can marry her after some time to make it look like he just fell in love again post divorce, and he agreeing with Arshi not to tell Jhanak that she is not really a mistress, but that Arshi isn’t his wife at all, so she doesn’t give it away and for her own good (deja vu of her moms letter)…..wow, I’m way too creative for my hood when it comes to ITV because 99% of my amazing plots never happen 😭

Anirudh and his feelings……

The search for his comfort in Jhanak has always been in his subconscious state. It has been one heck of a ride for him from the time he brought Jhanak to his sanctuary. A place where he knew he had to deal with different wars every day. Being a warrior all this time has drained his energy. However, the last war was not only strenuous, but was equally excruciating to deal with. It was with someone who became the sole reason for his existence. His wife! He lost his power at the hands of Jhanak’s inevitable questions which became detrimental to his health. As he was being castigated for his actions, his guilt stormed in his thoughts, he knew the only person who could give him that peace of mind again was his Jhanak. He couldn’t hold back his fears and broke down and let out all of the other chaotic feelings which he kept it hidden made him vulnerable.

Jhanak came at the right moment and didn’t hesitate or pushed him away when he longed for the hug to find peace again. She knew she went over board with her accusations, maybe the way she let her frustration out so she let him be the child who would cling to find comfort until he satisfies. How could he avoided his feelings then? It had to come out as he grasped her for a hug! He found his missing piece in his life and he wants to keep himself glued to. Rahul was no longer a barrier he was afraid to lose Jhanak with. He found the green signal. He knew no one can be her protector so he took over his responsibilities again, but this time realizing his affection for her in a much profound way. His love! The dream sequence was all he wanted to express ever. It answered all of his troubling questions whether his care, concern and possessiveness was the end result of love.

It was a constant struggle for him to let her know he just wants her to sooth him whether or not she reciprocates any of his feelings back. He didn’t care.. he just wanted to hold her in his arms which he has been longing for. He isn’t letting go of her ever. The way Krushal and Hiba portrayed was so remarkable.

But there are more challenges lying ahead of him which he needs to face. It would be interesting to see how will he manage to procure a solution to his marriage with Jhanak and be able to give her the rights she deserves!

However, we never know how many scruples the real Ani has…. In addition, I wonder if Jhanak would finally succumb to his intensity only to keep second guessing her whole life? Would she at one point back out and demand she deserves better? What’s going to be the arrangement with Arshi that ani is going to make? Look the other way to the affair and our kid would be my heir? Or outright blackmail her to ignore his actions? Or is it the other way and the affair would be hidden from everyone…the forbidden fruit is sweeter sort of thing? Or would makers decide that such moral upturn is too heavy for ITV and decide that Ani would break things with Arshi and announce Jhanak? But Ani doesn’t seem like he has that intent. It’s rather like he wants to be the sort of guy that goes to parties with Arshi but spends all birthdays with Jhanak. I’m excited about the characters’ future actions now but that would have paid off more if makers were good writers. But they aren’t and so this buildup would probably be wasted soon enough. We’ll see.

I didn’t think what we saw in that dream was a manifestation of the standard married life for them. Far from it. Perhaps, it was because of the sequence of how things were shown…from him asking she stay by his side forever to having that dream. I interpreted that scene differently. I thought in that scene, he was imagining he and Jhanak when she accepts to be his lover/mistress….the scenes were hyper focused on Ani wooing/saying sweet things to Jhanak, so it seemed like a confirmation of his plans for her. Because there is no other way to interpret it. Ani isn’t saying no to marrying Arshi or denying that his request to Jhanak is too much, but he doesn’t care for decorum anymore. When she asked what society would say, he didn’t care and insisted, because he knows what he is proposing is scandalous. He even went ahead to say they could be in the same city even if she doesn’t come to the house. That’s the same as saying he can furnish an apartment for her as a rendezvous. Unless future episodes say otherwise, Ani doesn’t mind marrying Arshi as long as he can have Jhanak in some capacity. And it feels like he is not beyond using the marriage as leverage to force Arshi not to mind his affair. The genre is getting darker.

I try not to get excited because makers are bad writers….but what if Jhanak’s biggest obstacle (I’m getting deja vu of my earlier expectations) is not Arshi or Boses, but Ani? How much of an obstacle would it be to a successful career than being a mistress, even if it’s a beloved one? How much darker would the genre get, How much more wretched would Ani get when the woman he has successfully wooed internally and coerced other externally to keep by his side is getting more popular? Would Ani really be able to say he sincerely wants to push her out there? Won’t he rather try to sabotage her? Would Arshi, who is wife but in all real ways, isn’t for Ani, not try to manipulate Ani into being overly jealous and sabotage Jhanak’s career by himself? Because as far as I can tell, Ani is shallow and self absorbed to the point that he is the type of person that would marry Arshi and keep Jhanak if Arshi schemes into saying she has no feelings for him anymore and makes up some lie about ‘wanting to protect Jhanak’? Or have a fake wedding with Arshi (with her knowledge) and trick society that it’s real? I can see Arshi saying it’s for her and family honor and to protect Jhanak from

Scorn and she will pretend to divorce him in a while, so he can marry Jhanak because now people will say Jhanak stole her cousin’s fiancée..I can see Ani falling for that trap and thinking he can still have Jhanak, and when he ‘divorces’ Arshi, he can marry her after some time to make it look like he just fell in love again post divorce, and he agreeing with Arshi not to tell Jhanak that she is not really a mistress, but that Arshi isn’t his wife at all, so she doesn’t give it away and for her own good (deja vu of her moms letter)…..wow, I’m way too creative for my hood when it comes to ITV because 99% of my amazing plots never happen 😭

it’s all bizarre. I am expecting to get a better pic of where the story is heading to in the next couple of episodes!

Well, I disagree with the mistress point.

It's Jhanak who's pushing Ani toward Arshi due to her sacrificial act. Whereas Anirudh has tried his best to let Jhanak acknowledge their marriage so that he can face any storm in their life.

He even today told when getting a phone call from Arshi: me thak gaya hoon ab, indicating he doesn't want to lie anymore and be a fake person.

He completely loves and values Jhanak and no one can take a place in his heart as well as life. If he's still agreed for going ahead with Arshi’s is mainly due to Jhanak’s convince and family pressure otherwise he already maximizing his efforts to let Arshi break up on her own.

Since he is calculating and manipulative, he certainly has a concrete plan. Now, Rahul's misunderstanding has been entirely cleared, allowing him to get a green signal to get physically intimate with Jhanak, which was clearly seen last night. Therefore, he will become the driving force to instigate Jhanak into acknowledging her feelings by hook or by crook.

Here I don’t completely agree. ANI has always treated and have importance to marriage but it’s jhanak who has been pushing him away. He even asked do you want to adopt the sindoor. Even ani breaks up with Arshi he clearly knows jhanak will not accept him due to her being called home wrecker. I am sure here makers won’t show ani Arshi marriage that will destroy the show completely. Arshi if get married she would demand love also from ani. Here ani in any way won’t give love to her. The only problem with Ani is he is deceiving Arshi by not telling the truth to her. ANI is not a perfect ML has some grey shades. He is actually giving lot of hint to Arshi for breaking up but he himself is not doing this. But yes current episodes are portraying him as a two timer where Arshi will be the wife for society. But let’s what’s in the store as I think Arshi will back out from the marriage. Even ani backs out the blame will come on jhanak that could be one of the reason why he is not breaking up.

saw all the new bts.. and here are my thoughts on them..ok so, first of all, starting with the most dreaded, bipasha's cunning plan.. going by the bts, it looks like they will do something to jhanak's dress which will embarrass her in front of everybody at the sangeet. my thoughts on this - well, everyone already knows our anirudh will step in to save jhanak, this is how they come close everytime, some evil person tries to do something to jhanak and anirudh saves her from it. if they're doing something with her dress, anirudh will have to save her in front of everyone. this will give the asylum wasis + banshee and her mom a taste of reality. the reality of anirudh's feelings. in the episode, the sangeet, we will most likely see anirudh just staring at jhanak the entire time the event happens, arshi might also notice this as she has a few times before. then jhanak dances, something goes wrong with her dress, people say stuff, anirudh hides her and saves her. except this scene will be romantic, because anirudh now has realised and even confessed his feelings to jhanak. he knows why he feels this way, so he will be more confident.

All the upcoming events will be there to let his family and Arshi know about his love and deewangi for Jhanak.

Nakli shadi makers ne already place krdi hn sbky mind me to ab asli shaadi ki taraf jara hai track unki for sure and Jhanak's love confession, which will surely give a hard time to Anirudh.
