I think Ani's intent was to take Arshi off J, qki Arshi had gotten physical with J and hit/pushed her !

So there was an immediate "Arshi" , followed by coaxing Arshi to disengage and move out.

he mostly wanted to save Jhanak only..as he was just worried for her..he couldnt take care of Jhanak infront of everyone..so he took Arshi out..or else..she would give her more taunts...that hurt Jhanak..that he took Arshi away, but told J nothing..when he actually wanted to help only Jhanak
