May be, just may be, she said those to get a reaction out of Anupama.

Nonetheless, the way she has treated Adhya (equated her to Shah anmol ratna, forced her during the nehandi sequence and the tone of speaking) is proof of her resentment towards Adhya.

Furthermore, she is another example of people putting their nose into others matters and givibg unsolicited commentary. She needs to know the boundaries (maryada) associated to every rista. Agar hazma kharab hota hain insab ke abhaav me to kisi achche mano chikitsak ke paas use swayam haana chahiye. Inka yeh lakshan saaaj ke liye haanikarak hn.
