This scene was little bit similar to the one in gen 3 where Ru's mother was left at alter and the other two confessed love. A bit change in situation is Ab is not involved, it's done from Armaan's side only.

I'm no fan of Armaan right now, but this dongi buddha and his vampy immoral wife should be the last ones to revolt about injustice and moral standing. They are like the worst scum in this show. i had hoped for charu angle to be closed and for armaan to learn that Abira never bhagaoed her to meet Dev and neither did she put Charu at risk when accident happened. she always told charu to reveal truth

he needs to know that he has ONLY been wrong

Abhira may be too idealistic and silly for thinking its ok to support Charu-Dev but she has never supported anything immoral, illegal or done anything wrong.
