Lol, Vanraj was the cheater as he was in a committed relationship. Kavya was the cheater in her marriage as she too was in a committed relationship. Kavya did not cheat on Anupama. She cheated on her husband and Vanraj cheated on Anupama. Likewise Anupama is not cheating on Shrew, Anuj, yes, what he is doing is tantamount to emotional cheating as he does not have the gumption to break it off with Shrew. And his lack of guts is partly because he is being emotionally blackmailed by both his daughter and Shrew herself, and partly because he is guilty and thirdly maybe even cos he suspects he stands no chance with his ex wife.

The last of the partly reasons, I don’t agree with, if Anuj wants to stay with Shrew out of guilt or cos he wants to please his daughter, so be it. But if he is staying with Shrew considering her as a back up option cos he thinks he has no chance with Anupama, that sucks for Shrew and is not a gentlemanly thing to do. If he wants to pursue Anupama, he needs to make a clean break with Shrew. And it is best to make that break than dilly dally.

I 💯% agree with you on that. And even if Anuj had felt at that initial point that Anupama was out of his life and wanted a fresh start but once he met her again and had his old feelings re-surface, he should have done the right and honest thing and broken it off with Shrew. No woman deserves to be treated as a back up. Same token if there is no love and if he doesn’t want to be with Shrew, he is not obligated to remain with her.

Anuj and Anupamaa are both doing emotional cheating with shruti. As much as i dont like shruti as a character the flaw here is in anuj. I won't even talk of anupamaa as it's all done too many times to count.

Anuj in my opinion should never have commited to shruti when he knew his heart belongs to someone else ( unfortunately for him it belongs to a lady who never had him in her priority list when they were married)

Even now he time and again keeps promising her marriage but his face becomes like a tortured men when shruti comes close to him.

He can be a good friend to shruti for adhya as she loves her for the emotional support she provided to her in last 5 years when her own mother was on sanyas mode. He should have explained to adhya that he can't give big commitment like marriage to shruti and at the same time should have tried to maintain distance from anupama as that causes trauma to adhya.

I do not agree with you that Anupama is cheating. She has not crossed the line with Anuj, he is her ex-husband and there is a degree of comfortableness in their behavior which cannot be misconstrued as physical cheating. If she still loves him that is her cross to bear. She is not obligated in any manner to Shrew either. Anuj and Anupama do share their daughter, Aadhya, whether he adopted her or Anupama abandoned her is besides the point, the girl is their child and he asked Anupama for help with their daughter when Shrew was sick.

I do see that what Anuj is doing is not right - he either needs to stick with Shrew and cut Anupama out of his heart and mind OR if he cannot do that, he needs to cut Shrew out of his life. Having a fiancé and planning a wedding while mooning over your ex is plain terrible, I agree.

Sad part is Shrew knows Anuj doesn’t care for her and she is still clinging to him, and that to me is equally abhorrent, she as a young, pretty, intelligent girl should not be throwing herself at a middle aged man who pines for his ex wife. Just like Anupama did the right thing is spurning Vanraj who did not want her, Shrew should leave Anuj who does not want her.

Anupama is not in a relationship with Shrew, Anuj is. So he is the cheater not Anupama.

Anuj is the biggest loser n cheater but Upma is also not a Saint..Deliberately eyeing on someone's fiance so she is as much part of cheating as much Anuj is.Same woman while married to Anuj was busy cheating on him with Mishter shah..Both are just pathetic.

I beg to disagree - Anupama was not cheating on Anuj with Vanraj and neither was she cheating now. It is pathetic tho to see grandma and her ex pining for each other and not having the guts to stand up for themselves. Age shouldn’t be a factor but I do wish their behaviors were tinged with a bit more maturity and reality. Maybe the makers want to portray the eternal child in all of us 😄

She was definitely cheating on Anuj emotionally with Vanraj then n now also indulged in cheating.She was always found more with Vanraj than she was found with Anuj.Just because she has no relationship with Shruti she has no right to have an affair with ber fiance.Anuj is bigger culprit but Upma is also a culprit in making Shruti a fool by staying in their house in the name of Aadhya but behind her back gt indulged in an affair..They look cheap than a child because no mature adults would behave like this..

If she really want to cheat, she can do so easily. It is Anuj who needs to set boundaries not Anupama. Anupama won't cross limits. Anuj is the culprit.

Who is reciprocating to Anuj's gestures by flirting with him,hugging him,falling in his arms n having eyelock,accepting his gift,praising his cooking skills ? She is leading him on willingly and knowingly very well that Anuj is Shruti's fiance which means she is also a part of that affair..She is not a kid to not to know what an affair is ? She is a willing participant in that affair along with Anuj so she is also a culprit as much as Anuj is..

They never fell out of love so it is expected that they feel attraction. Plus I didn't see their gestures as anything inappropriate. One can't live without talking or laughing together with his/her ex especially when they have a kid together n all.

If she really wants Anuj, she can get him. Anuj is after her openly. Lol, so openly that Shruti knows that very well. Shruti is so insecure about it coz she knows how much love they share. In today's episode, she even saw a poem written by Anuj and she immediately understood it was written by Anuj for Anupama. What a joke, the "would-be-wife" knows that the poem was written for another woman. But still she will not break up.

Shruti knows Anuj loves Anupama. Shruti knows Anuj doesn't want to tie the knot and he is doing it for Aadhya but she still wants to marry him.
