There were some great Bhojpuri movies made then, before they turned the industry into crass and semi p**n industry with such dual meaning songs

If my research was correct, Ganga Maiya was also Chitragupta’s first film after his first heart attack that had left him bedridden for years. The songs are still such classics…Sonhwa Ke Pinjara brings tears to my eyes every time.
