Ganga Maiyya tohre Piyari chadhaiba was a very beautiful movie... could be called a Classical Bhojpuri.

It is said that first Indian President Dr. Rajendra Prasad once asked the filmmakers on why are they ignoring Bhojpuri audience who is very predominant in Hindi belt. The movie was specially screened for him and he nearly was in tears seeing his language on silver screen...

There were some great Bhojpuri movies made then, before they turned the industry into crass and semi p**n industry with such dual meaning songs
