Ani's character is getting butchered. He knows he loves J. He is obsessed with her, possessive of her, takes all kind of liberties with her.

And he wont call off his wedding with Arshi, because he thinks R and J love eo and he wants a consolation prize if he does not get his first choice?

I don’t think he has still realized that he loves her. Makers are trying to portray that whatever he is doing or blurting out that bcoz he does not have any control over himself. I think we are near to closure of Rahul chapter. My instinct says Rahul will decline the marriage offer. He has been saying that he is not in a position. Then ani will accept jhanak as his wife for his jimmedari . They will not show any love confession in near future. I doubt Anu will get any clarity from jhanak side bcoz they want to play out jimmedari. Jhanak might just say sirji and today Ani was thinking of leaving Arshi . It looks like IF spoiler is true .

Aaj ka episode dekh kar to yahi lag raha hai ki ani will only break . On what basis jhanak will break the marriage. ANI still not realized or confessed . He is proceeding with the marriage. I am seriously annoyed at him. Unless ani does not confess jhanak won’t be stopping the marriage. She might just say sirji and then stops. Rest ani has to do .
