Because in lost 1 .. most of the screen time was based on the hero .. it was his story and the choices he makes .. which effects him and the woman he loves ..He also took the FL along with him .. and left 2 kids .. one died later on .. and cameo was a Lallu ..

The FL in lost 2 repeats every time that she is Sai and Virat Ki beti .. the large size photo of both of them is hung in her house

Even after the leap in lost 2 .. the Fl will say Savi chavan jyachi pakki zabaan .. the day she becomes an IPS officer .

But over here it is a more Fl centric story the girl remembers and says again and again mein apni mumma ki beti Hu .. she invokes her mother again and again .. Akshara ki beti .. ML and cameo dono ko koi yaad nahi karta

Akshara Sharma is the most mentioned dead character I’ve ever seen in this show..in all generations.‘because Abhira mentions her all the time..

exactly both are different centric …plot might be similar but the viewpoint over here is FL centric .. and it was not there in lost ..so the importance of cameo is not the same ..

Cameo can become the hero also as it happened in imlie so whose story is being told matters

Kartik was never a confused guy, 5 years leap ke baad bhi kartik belonged to naira only, physically and emotionally both. He wouldn't even glance at vedika, let alone consummate with her. They never had a love phase, that's why vedika being the third angle didn't matter much. In here, armaan is pendulum and forever confused. Kartik deserved naira but armaan doesn't, because he has done so much that he needs boht zyada redemption to get abhira. Plus he has given ruhi so many hopes that she thinks he has feelings for her
