My question is whether he was serious when he said Munna is going to die.

One thing is sure after the interview. They worked hard, each and everyone of them. Both Yumna and Humayun seemed very proud of Gentleman.

GM is different though. Not only is it unique content it’s not something that is easily going to be accepted by your usual PTV audience. KRQ himself has never written anything like this. It’s completely uncharted territory for PTV at least. Uper se new channel. It’s ballsy and experimental about which the team is well aware but this kind of content change has to start from somewhere. Whoever watches typical saas Bahu or female centric content will not watch this because it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. But it’s a start of exposing the audience to this kind of drama. Well made, pretty much flawless so far and getting unanimous critical acclaim. Koi tou baat hai na which is clicking with everyone. Yumna Humayun are already getting interviews about it.

I will always be skeptical of KRQ’s writing but he does have a way with words and his script gives actors a lot of leverage to perform. So SMD I’m expecting an equally juicy kind of story telling even if it’s the same old business world and love triangle. Even if you can fault the story, he will give you really good moments and actors can really showcase their talent. Mazaa tou aata hai dekh ke at least. Where the craft speaks and that’s it. I think this will be very good for each actors portfolio and will give them a chance to shine and display their range.

Well I couldn’t tell but it did fluster Yumna a bit. But who can be that dumb to give away such a huge spoiler? I think he was maybe just messing with everyone. Let’s see. I’m prepared for a bittersweet ending anyway so it doesn’t really bother me. Bus show Acha chalta rahay bus.

Yar the interview was so good though! They had such amazing things to say about the set and each other and the whole team. They were both so grounded and humble yet confident in their product and performances. Yumna ne tou Sara credit hi team ko de diya and she’s is that kind of person. And she called Haissam ka set “military academy” where they were all “5th grade students” doing revisions n what not I found her comment cute keh at night she used to do revisions and then subah she used to practice her lines on the treadmill loudly and her mom used to rehearse her lines with her I love her bond with her mom and the kind of support she has around her.

Amina Hassan also congratulated her on the world film festival at Cannes ka award which was great ! It was needed by them lol. And she also talked about her upcoming projects TB 2, Parizaad 2, and one more project which I kind of got the feeling was maybe cause based. So lots of good things coming up. Both AhNa and Yumhaj fans also got happy !

Also YUMYUM That was so funny! They meant HAA right ? Was he just visiting the set or do he and Yumna have that project together that she mentioned? Curious about that. Let’s see.

loved the ease and camaraderie between her and Humayun. I must say HS handled a lot of awkward questions about chemistry and that Crown kiss really smartly and gracefully He’s quite intelligent lol. I also love how he gave his wife all the production credit instead of hogging it and I found that very endearing. Ghar ki baat hai sure but he kept the distinction that what is his and what is his wife’s PH and hard work.

Very wholesome interview.

I do think he was kidding - he’s booked for next 2-3 years tou kab banaye ga ? But anything is possible these days. Same world but different actors ? Why not ! At least kuch different content tou add hoga on our screens.

I don't about yumna fans, but whatver neutral views or opinions I'm seeing on X and under something haute review comment section people aren't really kicked with the show, like they aren't getting that involved in it.

Also hypnotoad had hyped this project here and expected that it'd get 10+ ratings since its the comeback of 2 superstars of pak but it is hardly getting a rating above 2 so that means it's underperforming. Youtube viewership wise Akhara which featured feroze who doesn't have that good public image had better views than this one so...

Anyways I haven't watched a krq drama yet, so I really have no idea how he has written smd. But just hope that it isn't boring and is entertaining like tb and mein.

Btw.. did anybody notice how Humayun shaded Amina by saying 'yes we are complexed people so we care about styling'. Do you guys remember Amina's biggest criticism on movie Nayab was Yumna's styling.

I think being a fashion journalist gets in the way of her honest performance based reviews. Yumna’s character in the movie couldn’t possibly have been shown any other way. She was a tomboy who just walked talked ate slept cricket and that’s it. Even the opening scene of the movie is the entire family getting dressed up for a wedding and she’s least bothered and glued to the cricket match on tv and is upset keh stupid wedding ki waja se her match is getting interrupted

I thought it was so realistic. A girl who doesn’t care about these things but does *just enough* to get people around her to shut up about her not looking presentable bare minimum lol

also we have seen and heard Yumna mention this time and time again and her co actors that she’s a very performance based actor who focuses on her craft and not glamor. Bus pyaari shakal hai tou Sab kuch more or less acha lag hi jata hai and it works out 💁🏽‍♀️😁
