I just watched Thursday’s episode. It was so boring🥱🥱 and now I am getting annoyed with Gomathi overacting and silliness. Not that I liked her anyways but she is now on par with TM in my dislike list. She is overacting and being petty for every single thing, doesn’t seem to act like a mother of 5 kids and MIL of 3 DILs and a SIL. Even Raji and Meena are much more matured than her and TM. The difference between educated and uneducated is clearly shown. Gomathi I bet didn’t finish even schooling before she eloped and married Pandian. So does TM who lied that she has completed M.A. English but the way she said “Sorry” as “Saari” should have been a red flag to Saravanan instead he is smitten by her beauty and non-existent brain The insecurity of these 2 women is grating to see🙄 I watched TM’s one upmanship and Gonathi’s whining in FF mode. I knew Saravanan took TM to the Temple with Pandian’s permission but didn’t care for the context. When these 3 come on screen - Pandian, Saravanan and TM together, I only see fakery all around.

Now comimg to Kathir’s scene, wish he had told Raji that he is planning to do this, would have been nice to know that he is including her when he is making important decisions such as this. Raji was as surprised as others in that scene. Towards the end I sensed that Pandian is going to ask for more money for their expenses on purpose so Kathir won’t be able to pay to further humiliate him. I sense’s haughtiness and arrogance in Pandian’s tone. Let him stoop low but one day he is going to realize that he hasn’t been a scumbag towards his family members especially KR and SM and that day things would have gone too far that even an apology would not be enough to bridge the gap he created. By acting like this Pandian and showing favoritism is bringing a divide and bitterness amongst his children and you don’t need TM to do it, Pandian is enough to break the family. The main villain of this story is indeed Pandian himself. Also TM’s reaction during this scene was unnecessary🙄 what the heck was she doing? A sly smile or irritated with the ehole thing or plotting on how to add fuel to this fire and turn Pandian further against KR. Whenevrr she comes onscreen, I just feel irritated and unfortunately she is getting tooooooooo much SS becauae she has become the writers and director’s favorite after Meena. These 2 have the most SS and dialogues of anyone in the show. Both are there in every scene, have an opinion on everything that goes on in the house, and its nauseating to see🙄

Gomathi should at least tell the truth in private to Pandian to save Kathir from this humiliation but she is going to be mute and make KR suffer

That’s exactly she is not doing because she doesn’t want to lose her title as good and obedient wife in front of Pandian. She is shit scared of him l, wants to do things on her own but has no guts to say it to Pandian. Hence won’t hesitate to throw Kathir under the bus as long as her butt is saved. She has been nothing but a lousy mother on the lines of how Pandian has been a lousy father. Both are made for each other and their poor parenting skills have been horrible to watch

About today’s episode

I want to know if the writers are bipolar or tgey are purpisely making Pabdian, bipolar? The guy has so much EGO that he doesn’t want to appreciate and praise his own son for his values and principles. He leaves no opportunity to humiliate, abuse and harass Kathir un public but praises him to Kumaresan behind his back. Which father does this in this day and age? How do you expect your child to develop a bonding with you when you constantly belittle him in front of the others?
I just feel luke punching 3 people in this show currently- Pabdian, Gomathi and Thangamayil- 3 horrible characters who always think about themselves and find ways to put down others. I knew TM would be the one to talk about the cost, what a LowLife she is! If she was really educated and cultured, would not have butted her head in and the audacity with which she said inspite of Saravanan asking her stop,

Gomathi has No business questioning Kathir. She is the ROOT CAUSE of all his problems. Inspute of all that, the giy is turning out to be husband goals, thinking about his and his wife’s self respect and dignity, He clearly told Gomathi, the dimwit why he supports Raji, because girl is drowning in guilt and he has not been raised to abandon the girl he is married to. It show the characters of these 2 people, Raji has come a long way from her immature and naivety to being responsible, considerate, realizing her mistakes, no airs about being from a rich family, knows her place, adjusting well with Pandian family and most importantly knows her limits.
Kathir on the other hand is known to be responsible, known to do the right thing and most importantly aa Raji said, he us Sensible unlike other family members. I do not see anything wrong in Kathir giving money to Pandian for his and Raji’s expenses. Pandian’s ego is so bruised, he lashed out at Kathir yet again. The day he realizes what all he put Kathir through, it will be too late,

It was endearing to see Raji’s expressions when ahe heard Kathir and Gomathi talking. Gomathi was indeed shocked that Kathir changed so much for Raji She is not able to bear that all her sons care for their wives more than her

I thought KR would have a conversation about this money thing, like always the director rushed the scene, writers don’t believe in follow up with a meaningful conversational especially in KR track. They would rather show TM butting her head in everyone’s business or behaving like a lunatic, laughing at people when they are being scolded or hell bent on riling up Pabdiab against his own sons. Now coming to Gomathi, Raji, Meena conversation. I can’t figure whether Gomathi is happy or not with KR supporting each other. I fwlt she was jealous of Raji that even Kathir has gotten out of hand Raji even playfully mentioned that she changed Kathir Gomathi is not able to accept the fact that Kathir could do something like this,

Though Raji’s smile, visible happiness was heart warming to see, I wished she shared this with Kathir rather than Meena and Gomathi. Why is she so naive that she tells these 2 about what exactly is going on between her and Kathir. Either Meena is oresent in their scenes or if she is not Raji voluntarily tells her whats happening between her and Karhir. Why are the writers making her do this? I want Raji to tell Kathir directly what was her perception of him before and after marriage. She should tell him that she finds him sensible. We Don’t want Gomathi and Meena to know everything

I also liked how the trio gave it back to TM when she was almost going to hang Kathir for what he did. Since Raji is decent and cultured, she gave it back to her politely saying that Kathir only gave money for their expenses nothing else. TM is talking as if ger family never fights, Writers probably forgot their family introduction

TM eppadi naa- top to bottom ire poi, solluradhu one, seiyaradhu onnu, idhella oru pizhupu, chii!🙄

I also liked how all the 3 ladies scooted out of there for TM to fret and fume Gomathi can engage with this dimwit because she herself is one but hope Meena and Raji don’t stoop yo her level and engage in a conversation with her.
Two people need to be avoided like a plague in this serial- Pandian and TM There is a very famous saying, “ Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience”

As for the last scene with Pandian, Palanivel, Senthil and Kumaresan Mama. I repeat Palanivel is the most informed, sensible and intelligent character if this show. He has only right things to say and is very practical. But Maramandai Pandianukku enga puriya pogudhu Palanivel always remembers the famous “ idiot saying” and moves away from Pandian instead of arguing with him

Whatever Pandian said about Kathir to Kumaresan Mama when Palanivel abd Senthil were not there, I don’t believe any of it. The man has no good intentions, his ego is larger than anything else. Soon its going to come back to bite him🙄

I've been too busy to watch the full episodes so I might catch up tomorrow. But based on what Bhagyam told Peacock, maybe she will figure out KR's wedding secret and reveal it to Pandian.

Haven’t watched today’s episode yet. If there was a dialogue to this effect, please let it happen. I want KR to get out of this hell hole. Infact I want Pandian to throw them out of the house. It will be the best day for all KR fans
As for calling TM peacock or peahen, she doesn’t deserve those names as its a beautiful bird. I will simply call her fraud like I have been calling Rohini of SA

I find Rohini - Vijaya and Pandian- Thangamayil combo to be the exact same their storyline has so many similarities.

Vijaya hates Muthu- Meena and Rohini is her find as DIL for Manoj same here, Pandian feels Kathir-Raji are useless, don’t like them and is proud about the fact that TM is his find for Saravanan. Both Manoj (Rohini’s husband) and Saravanan (TM’s husband) are simps Rohini and TM are experts in plotting and planning and creating problems amongst other family members while escaping from all their frauds every single time because they hey have the support of their MIL and FIL respectively.
