If she didn't go through the thing, her mom would've been sent to jail. Can be argued she can let her go to jail.

Someone wrote few page back.She was given choice to choose between sending jail and marriage Even virat was going to jail that time amu jumped to save him,then also kuch nahin hua tha

Jab kuch nahin kiya toh jail jane mai kya hai? But shaadi karna hai amu se baaki sab toh bahana hai.
