Yes. That's what I meant too. If it wasn't in their plan, I would expect her to object to him more than she did... she stood behind kind of holding him back (dont go there... that's not the plan.)

Him faking it with her playing along - sounds unbelievable... at least the mela part. 'Ammu' is not a good actor. 'Lost' expression at home. Believable.

Him being real - I would love it - but only if Ammu proves it at the end of the day and LEAVES.

Shekhar has their phones... he isn't around... even if Virat is not faking it... he can find out things. Nimmi contacting Babs. Perhaps Babs sending the 'bag in their house' clip to Kavita. Bone's contact with Suresh / the other goons.

Can be possible that Shekhar can be the hero ... but... BUT.

@Bold: I agree. And if they want this marriage to continue, they need to properly redeem him. I don't want Amruta to stay with him as his wife without his redemption. I think him insulting her mother can be a hint that she will not agree to be wife because, FLs sacrifice their self-respect for love but not be okay with the mother's disrespect. By involving Bhavani, they planned it, may be.

It gets too complicated to pull it off by getting Bhavani involved too - even with Ammu it is (unless it happened before coming home).

Lets hope Shekhar is doing what I mentioned in the previous post.. even in that case, my best guess is its Ammu who asked him to (Or I would love it if thats the case and Virat is not faking it).

I meant to say that, the makers involved Bhavani in this situation to make Amruta firm in not going back. I didn't mean the inner planning in the drama.

It is invalid marriage. In any way, it is not valid, i.e., Hindu Marriage Law or Court Marriage.

I would say even if it's all alone Virat's plan,he deserves slaps and rude behaviour from Amruta. The way in previous episodes he behaved badly with Bhavani was worst. I really don't want Amruta to forgive him and forget his humiliation until we get proper redemption from him please. Now only one thing can make this serial watchable and that is leave the ahuja house with Virat or without Virat and if not then at least not anymore crying, humiliation or blame game rather torture and harsh words towards ahuja people.

I think Amruta, as a character is sensible and at the same time knows how to take a stand for herself and her mother. Even to Ishita, she slapped her after showing a lot of patience. She, as a character, will not slap Virat but she definitely can leave him prioritizing her self-respect.
I like the aspect of hate-love in this drama because it makes the drama interesting. But they need to know how to balance Virat's childish behavior with mature Amruta's counters. I hope to see Amruta doing something about the situation.
And Amruta, how can you think that he will agree to annul the marriage? His purpose is to keep you next to him and torture you. At present, he has mixed feelings of hatred and obsession and hatred took the lead.
