Someone asked if she would have the same reaction wrt Manisha. My answer is yes. Yeah, she got Manisha married to Karan, but that was because of her age, and prior problems. If Manisha was 25, there was no way she was getting her married into Vicky’s family, no matter how many cricket matches they played.
Tanvi and Vijay were the most sorted parents in this godforsaken house and the writers have completely regressed their characters since Rati’s arrival. It’s weird to see the same people who actually gave such values to Rahul be so backward and blind all of a sudden. For drama reasons, they changed Tanvi’s character who was the most openly supportive mother once upon a time.
Janki was always patriarchal and misogynistic and has given the same values to her children. We don’t live in the 14th century where divorce isn’t a thing…what if Rahul decides to give Rati a divorce after the wedding? Will Janki take responsibility of ruining another girl’s life like Manas ruined Mauli’s? (Yeah, Rati is a vamp but Janki doesn’t know that yet).
TBH, now RauLi will happen only when the RBF mangetar messes up and does some sort of blunder. Don’t know till when Mauli will have to keep justifying her presence and receiving validation from this family which doesn’t deserve her in the slightest.
