She has been the same from day 1. Just that her oh so goodness & emotional talks overshadow her hypocrisy but still it's always there. Not at all surprising bcos she was the first one to notice Rauli closeness & started her unch neech jaap which is the reason why she was hell bent on getting Manas & Mauli together now it's Rahul & DN.

The reason is nthg but her stupid unch neech wala thinking bcos Mauli was that douchebag Manas' wife. Ofcourse Rauli deserve better than these hypocrites. Once the truth about Rauli's love for each other I do feel Mini & Ajanta maybe the first ones to join their team.

She was and is complete hypocrite since day 1 as Vish mentioned.She doesn't want intra - relationship between Rahul and Mauli whether it is of lovers or friends.She want them to be distant from each other since the whole 'Mumbai kand'.She fears what the society will think if the bond/relation is allowed to create between them considering Mauli is Rahul's cousin's ex-wife.Honestly I agree with you all Rauli deserves much better family than this and Ajanta will be the first one to join team Rauli and Mini will follow her mother's footsteps later on as mentioned by Vish.

Ikr. She has been the same & wants to distance Rauli from the egg wala kand itself. Tabhi se she noticed them together & Mumbai kand ke baad full fledged unch neech shuru ho gaya. We all unanimously want Rauli to leave the NWG & live far far away from these ppl.

Jaate jaate she will spill the beans about RauLi. Because I don’t see Rati just getting married- she will keep poking Mauli till she breaks. And unless something drastic happens, shaadi nahi tootegi. Ajanta is now just a piece of decoration.

Tanvi has become snooty now and too much of mollycoddling Rati.

For Rahul's case, it's majorly his parents and then Rati who are to blame. As you said parents did not even try to understand him.

And Rati knowing that he doesn't like her wants him.

Rati is adamant and psycho.. It's clear that Rahul is just something that she wanted and can't give it up, lest anyone else takes him. If she cannot have him, then no one can have him. This is what she feels.
