Without trying to sound rude but we can like an actor without liking a character all the time. Ani cannot be innocent all the time. Same way Jhanaks low self esteem cannot be an excuse for everything.

Ani got married against his will

Told his family it was against his will

Caught feeling for the girl he got married to but is yet to tell anyone in his family that he has caught feelings and doea not like arshi

In an attempt to make jhanak jealous, he faked his liking towards Arshi.

If he has caught feelings towards someone else it is his duty to make it clear to all parties involved.

Arshi is besharam as well and treating it like a competition but not once has Ani said he does not like Arshi openly.

I get he may not know what he truly feels for jhanak just yet but we cant expect Arshi to know before Ani even realises himself. Characters cannot see the internal monologues we see. Even when we see them we get confused half of the time. I also understand he cannot express himself and feels suffocated but how can we expect someone to realise he is emotionally out of the relationship when everything that comes out of his mouth is opposite. Same with jhanak to be honest and that's whats most fustrating about this show…. The stupid dialogues and delay in storytelling.

verdict:

Ani - confused - looking like a person leading two girls on

Jhanak - confused - looking annoying and stupid and emotionally unintelligent

Arshi - besharam - she thinks everything is a competition but she is not entirely wrong in her stance.

Writers - the main problem.

We all have different likes and favourite characters but ultimately we are common in Anirudh and Jhanak as a couple .

He unnecessary assumes something about Janak and Rahul and with the anger come and proceed with marriage with Arshi. Because we all expected something out of Aditya kapoor track and we served something else

Mujhe Ani ko jelaous dekhna hai.


He’ll have mood swings for sure but at the moment it will be about Tejas and Anirudh and probably their final showdown! Uske saath saath dynamics will change between Ani-Jhanak. I just hope makers utilize this track perfectly. And like what Maya said if not, the show will go down the drain.


I heard about the writer being successful with her other Bengali shows. So hoping she knows what she is doing. Let’s hope for the best!

I am reminded of Ani's dialogue when Jhanak asked him the following:

If this is to show his attempt to stay happy and move on with his life, please make it clear to us! I want a frank discussion between Choton and Ani about why he is going ahead with the wedding before he runs to Kashmir. It's a million-dollar question for me. I want to know the reasoning. A practical guy like him must have figured by now he is going into an unhappy marriage. Why is he punishing himself like this?
