Hoping, writer won't disappoint in this matter, writing has been solid so far but if they choose to normalize or underplay Salaar's trauma and he becomes confident suddenly just coz of Emaan's presence then it's surely a bummer for me.

I think It was his fear which gave him strength to take stand for Emaan.

Otherwise uski wife ko bhi Kamraan uske tarah hi treat karta.

Apni wife ko toh koi bhi insult hote huye nhi dekhna chahega kitna bhi buzdil kyun na ho.

It was necessary to take a firm stand.

Oh bhai Areeb at least had a logical reason to feel betrayed and mad. His bride to be married someone else on their wedding day and didn’t wait for him smiley37

Yahan koi mujhe samjhaye keh Zain ko kya keera kaat raha hai? His shadi got cancelled ages ago because of the dowry issue/public scandal. It was over and he was hurt but he had accepted. His mom died in a car accident in another country. And he was on the phone blaming all that on Emaan - like WHAT? How does that make any sense at all. She didn’t marry some other guy on her wedding day. She told him about the money. She explained her side of it to him. She waited. Called him to make things right. Attempt tou kiya at least.

But still … his mom’s death happening in an accident and in another country is on her lol. AJEEB

Uper se … main buddua deta hoon, please don’t die before I revenge nonsense - yeh kya hai? smiley29smiley39

More than Salaar it's Kamraan who was not into the character in that scene.

The problem is clearly how the writer is having Emaan do a “right” thing but in a way that’s completely illogical. The way she betrayed Salaar in this episode - albeit for a selfless reason - was downright cruel and he doesn’t deserve this. How hard is it to be upfront about her plan. He confided in her so why can’t she do the same 🤦🏻‍♀️ I just don’t get it. She broke his trust and I don’t care if the reasons were right or wrong. It’s been ONE day, Emaan. ONE smiley29 Sahi kaha tha Becharay Salaar ne… thora sa tou wait ker leti ? She came across as an opportunist to the audience tou of course Salaar ke ghar walay are just being proven right. Also her rebuttals are coming across as more badtameezi than actually clever 🤦🏻‍♀️

My favorite scene is probably the car ride where she calls him Zain by accident and she says sorry after which he very pointedly expresses his disappointment smiley36 “Aap Bohat lucky hain keh aap ki Zindagi main abhi bhi koi hai jis keh liye aap kuch bhi ker sakti hain. Meri tou yeh khush fehmi bus aik hi raat ki thi.” 😳 Ugh look what you did, Emaan. And to this angel. I swear, chullu bhar paani main doob jaane wali baat thi qasam se smiley13 Don’t love him. Fine, okay. I get it. But don’t PLAY HIM.

Her leaving his gift right there on the table was also rude af. Kahin Aur rakh leti? Put it in your bag? In the closet? But… No 🤦🏻‍♀️

I did enjoy salaar standing up to Kamran finally. And his line was good “Mujhe apni aukaat achay se pata hai. Magar yeh na ho keh tumhain tumhari bataani paray.” smiley41 Yeh wali mazay ki line thi smiley16 I can already sense the character turn over - agli episode main Mamoo ke moo pe papers bhi phaar raha hai smiley37

Biwi bezatti kerne main koi kasar nahi Chor rahi but dude is out there defending it all and taking on everyone smiley36 Chalo theek hai. Logic has left the chat but I’m here for this ride anyway smiley39smiley20 Excited to see this version of Salaar. At this point I don’t care how abrupt this is. He’s a better character right now than Emaan. So I’ll let that go.

I think the writer, in her quest to make Salaar this new person, will sacrifice a lot of Emaan ke character ka logic even further n what not. It’s already happening 🤦🏻‍♀️ I just want her to be clever about this and not absurd. But apparently it’s too much to ask smiley22

P.S. I still don’t care about Zain and I don’t think the story even needs him. Baki ka ghareelo drama is enough

I think you said everything i wanted to say but in a better way..

Looking at yesterday, i don't think they are going for a slow transformation... I think they just want to move on to the mystery of his mother's death and jameels scheming ...

I really want it to be a slow burn... But sadly i don't think we'll get that... Too much happened in one episode...

... Also imaan's reaction to everything salaar has suffered is wayy too practical/clinical rather than one of empathy... Like she is seeing a problem to be solved but not really comprehending his pain...

As of now why is she even interested in solving salaar's issues?.. She doesn't care about him, doesn't respect him.. .. 2 episodes back she was taunting him... She still misses her ex all the time (we had 3 scenes regarding zain)... So why is she so eager to jump in and collaborate with mamu to help salaar??

Today salaar stood up to his brother... Next one he is tearing the divorce papers in mamu's face.. At this rate, salaar ka superman avtaar will be on in another 3-4 episodes

I hope we slow down a little from next week... Fast episodes are fun to watch but they compromise the larger story

Everyone was out of character in this episode.

They made Emaan cruel and scheming, Salaar full on bechara and then suddenly that 10 second of macho-ness in front of his regular bully, and Kamran who was looking on dumbfounded with his surma doe eyes as if koi hypnosis session chal raha ho

Even Alam sahab was laughing today. Very odd thing to see smiley36

Agree with you on Emaan's part.

Bacche ka dil tod diyasmiley19

Bas ek raat ki khushi mili Salaar ko, I imagined him saying , kya itna bura hun mai maasmiley19

But I like him for showing his disappointment openly. Zain ke re-entry ke baad bhi Salaar se issi ki umeed rahegi mujhe. Kabhi mahan banne ki galti na kare bas.

Vo baat sahi hai but it was too sudden. Kamraan should have re-entered after a few days toh zyada believable lagta...abhi Emaan ko aaye 2 days hi hue hain and hence the change is seeming sudden to me.

First of all the writer should NOT have skipped over such an essential scene as Salaar confiding everything to Emaan. That was a writing cop out, simple as that. Halaan keh this conversation was important for us to see as a viewer. How it started and how he confided in her. But it happened off screen 🤦🏻‍♀️

We just jumped right into her asking the practical Q&A. You’re right, it completely took the emotions out of it and Hiba is playing Emaan a certain way too, so the emotions we feel only come from Salaar’s obvious vulnerability in that scene. Did you notice how Sherry was having Salaar sleep? He was cowering and had his arm between his legs and there was trembling too. A++++ acting. But what’s the bloody POINT if you don’t show us Emaan taking all of this in and “feeling” something about it. Spare a second on this at least. She got married a day ago. This is all new. These people are new. Nothing she did in this episode makes sense considering she JUST came here. You don’t see the processing time. I want this coffee percolated and not instant please smiley36

And since we don’t really see the emotional processing of all this , the practicality of it all is a bit hard to swallow. Aise kaise? Your point is absolutely valid. It was too much all at once.

Did anyone understand why Sawera - who an episode ago was pretending she never even got the papers - suddenly decided to give Jameel the property papers today? I didn’t get that. I thought she was keeping it safe from him.
