There is a complex PTSD aspect to these which manifests as him trying to maintain the status quo. If he really was as righteous to the core as we expect him to be, he should have stood up for J and the other targeted Basus every time. He hasn't. That's a plain fact. Because he wants to maintain peace... granted he is now losing his patience post Jhanak's marriage fiasco. He is not there yet to completely throw away his commitments. He needs a final push. What form that comes in, upto makers.

You are right. I think I was hoping he reached the point the day after the night patti incident.

He has changed significantly post that, even Bipasha said Jhanak changed him overnight. He has been a diff man since, giving back to everyone in the family regardless, and only apologizing to Arshi bcos of Jhanak.

If he keeps the Arshi relationship after the date with Jhanak, then he is keeping his commitments for his family, but I am hoping after this date he will want to end his relationship with Arshi and J will not let him.

It was a good episode for me, even though it was a bit more friendly talk than romantic one. It was much needed for both of them, as we have only seen them fighting or being too emotional. So this is just a starting phase. As Ani said "Kuch naya sa feel ho raha hai"

They both were looking fof hints - when Ani asked what you said at home J says " Aapke liye jhut bolke ayi hun", he asks "sirf mere liye"?

He knows that she also wanted to be there.

Ani says when he comes to meet her and talk to her, he feels happy - "tum nahi samjhogi", J says "mein sab samajhti hun sirji".

Regarding the death talk, I think something big is gonna happen in Kashmir, and J would make a re entry in Bose house. Otherwide how the drama would continue?

I have complained about this multiple times. Whether it be the talk of death or the numerous unaliving attempts or ensuing hospital tracks. As a person who has lived through this and was actually close to unaliving myself several times over the past decade, it sucks when they normalize it without bringing awareness..

But today, it was in a different context so it didn't trigger me thankfully. Or maybe I improved enough to not be trigged. Who knows?

I am actually an Adilie fan lol.

I adored Adi for being shameless that way. He had the spine to get things sorted, it was Imlie who in her mahantaa kept brushing the truth under the carpet until it exploded like a volcano. He always kept lying which is totally against his ideals all for Imlie. I liked that part of him and I see Ani also in a similar vein.

My first post here was comparing Adi-Imlie-Malini and Ani-Jhanak-Arshi and how similar/different they are character wise and relationship wise.

J is not there. Yet.

First of Ani even in his monologue, he is plainly saying these things are happening to me but I don’t know the reason itself is absurd. It is apparent he does not want to face the very reason and running away from it. In this whole chaos, he is running Arshi and Janak’s life too. He has all the rights to make his life mess but not others. Both are women are being sad, though I don’t completely sympathize Arshi as she has all the reasons to break up with Ani. It is just as we are expecting Ani to come out clean.

I agree with Bold. I want it too. Hope they don't make a kachra like Imlie. aka., Imlie being Mahan and kept forcing Adi to not tell the truth and maintain the marriage with Malini.
