But what kinda bothers me that till yesterday he was saying that his world has turned upside down and he isn’t able to put into words and explain things to Jahank. You could see his gestures towards Jhanak. He was really showing off his haq. What Anirudh is known to me is that he has always been overprotective for Jhanak which I absolutely love.

He isn’t creepy but that’s how he expresses his responsibility because like you said he has been pulled from every corner. And he is trying to do his best to make sure he could keep everyone happy and safe. Jhanak being his top most priority is something which only he understands because he has to fit in the roles of being her guardian like parents. He knows no one can think of betterment more than him and that’s why he constantly reminds her that it’s him who she needs to listen to whether in a harsh tone or be totally grounded. He just can’t afford to lose her in any sense.

I totally get that. I just thought Anirudh was kinda carefree and very casual with Jhanak and her moving to Srinagar. Him saying he would book her tickets. Talk about bringing Rahul to move to the city was very casual without given a thought. Even when Jhanak said she won’t be coming back because she has to fight her own battle without being feared for the outcome, he was very relaxed. At least that’s what as Audience it was portrayed as. And honestly I am not judging at all. I want to see what writers are trying to reveal in the next few episodes as his inner emotions are unfolding.

What you pointed out regarding Anirudh could be just that.

I know he is very concerned about Jhanak’s exams and her future and maybe because of that he thinks he needs to book her tickets, makes sure she gets all her things prepared etc.

Maybe with bringing Rahul to the city might give him a reason to keep Jhanak close because maybe he is still figuring it out his turbulent feelings for her.


Both Anirudh and Jhanak are in a deep chaos and I would feel they need these dates more often to get to discourse about the issues and maybe get to know each other more freely!

He already loves Jhanak badly now, but that stupid misunderstanding is halting him, so that's why he's talking in riddles to get a stance on her feelings, and even Jhanak is fueling it. Although she subtly hinted that it's a wrong assumption.

Yaar these stupid shows r supposed to serve the purpose of entertainment, if they r not serving that purpose and rather creating toxicity they r not worth the watch. Life is simply beautiful and it can’t be as toxic as they show..

Ani has to pay a huge price and that is definitely not for loving Jhanak, that price is for not respecting your partner enough to let them know the truth!

Ani's monologue gives us a clear picture of his turmoil and I'm sure even Ani knows what he is getting into. If he's thinking about everything else rather than acting upon his feelings for Jhanak then he does come across as a spineless person.

If you love someone even if you don't know how the other person feels for you, you'd probably try getting a clarity instead of marrying your second fiddle and f*cking spoil their life🤦‍♀️

P.S. - I hope Ani fans don't throw chappals on me🙏

iTV seems to be driven by TRPs and not so much by good writing. Playing on negative emotions sometimes makes the most money. I have realized that, so stopped taking things to heart (ever since Ani's CA). I stop trying hard to make sense of things when they just do not. Because probably whoever is writing has also not put lot of thought into it.

@B - I honestly feel whoever writing these dialogues about death in this show is bipolar. I am saying this with utmost sincerity that they get help in real life. I have lost a colleague because of this for real couple of years ago and that’s why it doesn’t sit right with me with the amount of references they have about death in this serial. Depression, suicides & death are not some normal topics to keep writing as general dialogues. I wish and pray whoever are writing these stuff get help! Doesn’t the actors or director etc feel these dialogues inappropriate in repeat fashion I wonder.

On a lighter note, apart from those stupid dialogues, I kind of liked them. I think the disconnect you might have felt probably is, our titular character of his eyes didn’t get much screen space today, it was more of J’s side of expressions showcased making it a bit one sided may be.

No offence , If Jhanak is made to speak like this peformance wise it wod look so bad . Like they are enemies . Initial episodes I never liked the tone of Jhanak , it was same with everyone when she had to be angry .

No idea about the other actors though .
