Marriage before or after acceptance?

Since we still have no dedicated forum page for this show... I have to go through old threads and tag people manually... sorry if I missed any one..

So now, The focus is on Krishna Aryamaan marriage.

But I would have preferred if the marriage track came after Krishna had accepted Mohan's truth as it is. They could have delayed Aryamaan's entry and then made Krishna's acceptance before the marriage.

I feel marriage is already going to be a big change for Krishna... Accepting new relations... Would they be able to properly focus on Mohan's truth?

What do you guys think?

I think the makers will now focus more on Krishna and Aryamaan than Mohan. The main concept of the show will probably be sidelined. And it's too early to show the marriage track. They should've known each other properly. They should've fallen in love before marriage. Yes, this marriage is going to make a big change in Krishna's life. There's a huge class difference between Krishna and Aryamaan. So, it can be difficult for Krishna to adjust in such a rich family.

I feel it's not a proper time for the marriage. It's too early. I think makers are going with same story like other ITV shows. Like force marriage and all. They should focus on Mohan's truth first.

I don't know about force marriage part.. But Aryamaan respects Krishna.. at least now. They may have a platonic relationship for a long time. Continuing what they have now.

But will this marriage delay Krishna's acceptance of Mohan's truth?

And not just class difference...

The Anaya's family and Aryamaan's family are always together it seems.. almost making it a joint family.. wouldn't that look weird .. when Krishna will stay with them.

Things would be SUPER AWKWARD!

Yes, I think this marriage will delay Krishna's acceptance of Mohan's truth. And she'll not accept the truth easily.

Bold- I too fear the same.

Nowadays itv marriages happen suddenly or by forced. I think they needed to move to one location so they brought the marriage track.

I will watch when the love after marriage track starts

One thing I hate about media about marginalised folks is when it becomes about the redemption/realisation/struggle of privileged folks around them. Whether marriage happens now or later, if the story is more about Krishna and/or Aryaman's acceptance/journey from transphobes to allies rather than Mohini's self-realisation, then it fails anyhow imho

Marginalised people are people in their own right and their stories shouldn't be about how they are inconvinient to privileged people— in this case Krishna and Aryaman.

I feel marriage is done in urge of trp only. Clearly they need family drama Mohan's story is way to bold to be accepted.

Shakti got good response because it was FL's trauma but here FL herself is against it. Trp viewers usually want drama to revolve around them.

So I gave a benefit of doubt in marriage thing till now it's not being done sooooo out of the track at least they are taking care of details and as per promo Aryaman would marry her with consent.

But my concern is how they will post marriage, clearly Mohan's story and their love story will take a lead. It would have been better if they made Krishna accept Mohan first then love story but now they can show Krishna still not accepting mohan and Aryaman started realizing his trauma because he lost his dreams too. Then he makes krishna understand things. But that's so now tv-ish.

So 2nd way is Krishna slowly accepting Mohan acter seeing urban culture and meeting new people but she will hide it from everyone Aryaman will start falling for her and just before confession he gets to know Krishna lied and the drama.

3rd way is Krishna still not accepting she thinks mohan is a guy with such ajeeb thoughts but Aryaman falling in love with Krishna but misunderstanding happens as he would think she actually hid.

There are so many possible ways this story can progress. I am really excited to see their chemistry they are kind of growing on me recently.

Right now my only concern is whether Ananya would know about the wedding or it would take Jhanak Imlie route by hiding the marriage introducing as something else everything depends on that😂
