YESS and YESSS.......Salman couldn't make his own two brothers and an army of his relatives stars......so yes he helped her ....but Kat would have been a star regardless...

Also Salman fails the nepotism theory.....Why did none of the other brothers become superstars despite being raised by the same star Dad....same circumstances......so nepotism can only do so much if you don't have the qualities to be a star...

ok the question is not that 'can everyone launched by Salman, become successful?' question is that 'could Katrina become successful without salman' to become successful in Bollywood, u need both screen presence n good connections. Katrina had that screen presence, dancing skills, looks to attract the Indian audience but Indian audience can accept her only when they see her properly in those mainstream films which they generally watch n Salman provided those movies to Katrina. Katrina utilised it as much as she could. So i think without salman, Katrina would've needed some other mentor or Godfather to survive in Bollywood. If not, then I don't think she would've achieved success 

If that were now then that may have been possible for KK.
