Another reason for my gripe is this channel is promoting and normalising toxicity. 8 pm and 9:30 pm shows have the most toxic MLs ever. I am glad it was shown in season 1 Imlie leaving such toxic ML.

Exactly - I don't mind the channel closing shows with less trps because at the end of the day they are in business to run the channel and make money for its owners and investors. What I am angry on however is that the channel taking these mindless decisions of off-airing shows without any show to replace it. See I never had any hope of Imlie surviving after IPL. They could have run the show for the next 2 weeks at least aaram se and we would have gotten a decent end. But nope they ended without a rhyme or reason and then they did not have the guts to replace the show with the new one. In fact they are off-airing PS to air the new show and then they are giving an abrupt end to a newly launched show.

And the shows that have super toxic MLs are promoted and they are normalizing this toxicity in grab of hawt romance. The 7PM show, the 8PM show both had MLs slapping the FLs and that is just brushed off the rug and there are no consequences for that. That is what I hate. The channel should have off-aired TMD first before Imlie.

Yes I really hope TMD, Ghum, YRK, Maa all suffer trps drop. Ek se badkhar ek hain in showing toxicity. There should be some rejection from the audience warna we are going to get only clones of these shows again and again. No matter what premise the show starts with, it will eventually end with a triangle love story. Sigh.

Yes harassment by husband and also the way the actors were defending slapping as it is just fiction. Do they even know how many women are victims of domestic assault in daily life? I really don't know which audience tunes in day in day out to see this kind of sadistic stories. No wonder Tarak has been running for so long as at the end of the day you would love to rewind and relax and not be effected by how the FL is being tortured.

If you remember shaurya anokhi ki kahani used to come at 7pm around the same time as mehendi. That show used to merely get 1.2 . Usko off air karke zindagi mere Ghar aana lekar aaye. That too dint got much numbers. Phir rajjo aaya. It pushed trps to 1.5 and then Teri meri Dorian which took it 2. Us waqt toh shaurya anokhi fans ne bhi channel ko curse kiya hoga ki their 7 pm slot would never work but things never work on emotions in business world

Star plus doesn't mind not having slot leadership of 6 to 7 pm as long as they rule over 7 pm to 11 pm as it is the big fish.

Kal ko dekhna star plus and gul ne dobara sath ho jana . At end sirf fans ka loss hota hai.

Ye subah subah maine itna logic kaahe pad liya...

The audience is not rejecting toxicity. The leap just didn't work owing to many other factors
