Armaan doesnt seem "miserable" or "sad" enough
he is 100% affected. he is not happy
but he is also not looking upset to lose Abhira forever. its more like- how can she dump me waala thing. and he is angry. constantly.
Kya chala jaata makers ka agar ek monologue dikha dete
The only good thing today was that he confessed to himself- I dont know what the F i want!
Chalo. Finally he said one major truth.
And in the Abhimaan scene, I kept searching for something "extra" in his expression in his body language, in his expressions but all we got were that his eyes were red with glycerine but I missed more of a soft, guilty, sad waala reaction, some tehraav on his feelings where he looked upset to see her pain.
If we compare how much tehraav he got to show his hurt, pain, concern when Abhira says she hates him and also as she breaks down saying she cant handle it and she has had enough vs Abhiras reaction when he says dont come even I am dying- one can see the difference. They made sure to dwell on her pain but they keep making Armaan look entitled and really uncaring. his body language is- how can you claim to hate us- the people who did SO much- so he is counting favors now. thats crass. firstly aisa kuch zyada kiya nahi and whatever he has done- it pales in comparison to what Abhira has done and more imp what she has LOST in the process of his life being saved.
I think RoPu's aggression is well utilized but his softness is not.
I dunno how much it is the actor himself not bein as great at that aspect vs makers fault. I personally think its more to do with the makers screwing it up. I think he did show softness in the hug scenes earlier during Akshara bday and Mussoorie before Ruhi showed up to ruin it. heck even BTS picture of them recently in formals- usmein he looks more into Abhira than on the show
In that confrontation today, Sam was killing it and Rohit was holding back- i dont understand why he was made to perform like that. Can they not give him something solid to make him look sensitive and not like a pathetic insaan
