In the Stardust article Saira does talk about what a double faced toxic man dilip kumar was but I assume she didn't have the courage or the resources to walk out and live with dignity. Maybe she didn't want that dream wedding bubble to break.

The two polls don't respect that there could be changement of the attitude before wholeheartedly committing to a partner and after doing it ...marriage or not, it's the inner commitment (emotional and physical) that counts.

Having many - more or less intimate - relationships/encounters before an eventual commitment isn't forcibly philandering...it could also be just 'trying out' or a vivid sexual life or perceiving the current relationship as an error.

Philandering is a kind of hormonal impulsion a man or a woman can't stop regardless a commitment.

A womanizer isn't a philanderer when he has no impulsion to sleep with other women than his partner. However a man cheating on his partner still after the commitment (more than once) can still get labeled as philanderer.

For women the terms vary (seductrice, vamp, etc.) but it isn't philandering only if this still occurs after a commitment, then, too, one can talk of philandering (which mostly is also called histrionic personality disorder as a clinical term).

example Ranbir: if he still entertains various intimate relationships (including one-night stands) then he is a philanderer.

example Deepika: same behaviour then she is a philanderer.

Btw, it's nice that the other poll got locked. Using your word "toxic", infinity, it had become far too toxic, imo, only not in the "worshipping" sense.
