what she told is correct. Though they are saying dadis words but fact is she was not ready to marry that day .ar agreed because of ak saying him second time. First time he said I will be taking care of her as dost and shadi ix a big commitment. He can't do it. Ak asked samaj mein aise riston ka ...and made ar agree to shadi.. both are not ready. It's in a way forced by situations.
