You are so right here! I too used to check out RR edits back then and associated songs (created my own playlist based on these back then also lol) which depicted RR so well and now, when I hear those same songs it’s hard to picture them on Sai as he suits retro tunes now thanks to Agastya.

I’m not a huge fan of the songs from the 90s Bollywood era bar few exceptions however Agastya has made me revisit them and I’m not so averse to them now☺️.

This show has been really good because Sai could lip sync on some of the most popular songs of the 90s. I never thought Sai could do Yeh Mere Humsafar with the same enthu as Ho gaya hain Tujko or Didi Tere Devar song. He really got the best songs to work on this show.

I loved Dil Hain ki Manta Nahin sequence and Yeh Raatein Yeh Masaum also. In all I feel this show has really made me go search up all the old songs once again as I absolutely loved the way the team has shot and picturized the songs in the serial and incorporated in the story.

The retro vibes of this show. I will miss it, miss it miss it.

So let's be prepared for the last episode tomorrow. I am calling it a night now. Hopefully we will get some closure and some good scenes in the very last episode.

This was one of my fav episodes, and one of their favorite looks.. The diary cheenkar padna, the confessions she had written.. him getting slightly awkward and mostly proud and a bit vain, after reading all of them.. and her getting mostly shy, a bit embarrassed and still angsty that he got to know it all.. And then that bodychain-pendant atakna.. the pallu atakna.. and finally Maami ka aa jana..

Agar maami na aati, toh shayad Babu, ek-do chichori harkat bhi kar dete..

They really took us back in time to some beautiful golden oldies especially with the 60s/70s tunes and it was so much fun looking them up and seeing which film the songs were from, who the actors were as well.

The leads did an outstanding job lip syncing and what made each song more meaningful and totally in sync with the story was the way in which the songs were shot. Everything lined up giving us the audience a real treat each time a song appeared. You can literally go through the list of songs and picture the scene for each one which ultimately gives you the whole story!
