He is has not been interested in Ruhi romantically for a long time.. the problem is his inability to say no her.. if he sees her tears, he will do whatever she says.. as per the current scenario he will never strongly express it to her.. even if he does, he will say with a weak helpless voice, Ruhi will still continue to believe that he loves her but saying this just because of the situation..

What a petty and immature man he is. Adher umar ka 30 saal ka aadmi cannot navigate his relationships and he is putting onus on a 22 year old who has no idea how to navigate herself in a family.
