If I talk in Joey's voice.. The entirety of this shindig was a Moo Point.. Loving AgasLie, then witnessing that godforsaken death, then rooting for Surya to turn out to be Auggy till the very end... Then loving Surya, just to witness the show ending,now when SurLie's story has so much potential..

And aaj Agastya ko dekhkar it was as if, I just remembered everything once again..

Kashish and Ren keep on talking about 'when' they rewatch the show.. Beleive me, I have binged Agaslie multiple times now... And it never gets easy.. How can an ITV show impact us to this extent, is beyond me.. Maybe cos we came here, and analysed each episode like nobody's business...

I really don't wanna dampen everyone's spirits.. Maybe will come back in few hours, when I am better caffeinated and feel like rambling ❤️

One thing that amused me towards the end..

Imagine Addy.. she played Imlie pure dil se all these months.. Maybe even lived Imlie.. I remember her interview where she said, she has started talking like her.. Instead of Kyun, she unintentionally ends up saying... Kaahe..

And Imagine Sai.. He manifested not one, but two amazing characters.. and both so different.. I was watching his latest interview (in that yucky, aakho se khoon nikaal dene wala yellow shirt)

And the way he said, ki "main kabhi kabhi khud sochta hun Agastya ke videos dekhkar, ki maine ye kaise kar liya.. 2 such different roles"

Now I dunno man.. I have rewatched Agaslie so many times so far.. but once the show ends.. Neither I will feel happy watching Agaslie, knowing that later Agastya dies, nor will I enjoy SurLie knowing the lost potential....

Hum kehte reh gaye.. "Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon" aur iss Show ne hume "Ishqbaaz" bana diya.. Bhale hi wo 60s ki adaaein ho ya phir, 70s-80s ke "Geet" ho.. Ab toh ye "Aashiqana" bhi "Qubool Hai" aur iske saath mili "Tanhaiyaan" bhi...

Finally after watching the episode 3 times - Don't ask me as I teared up every time Agastya was on screen my thoughts are little clearer.

First of all whoever planned and executed the Agastya ka death sequence needs a through bashing. Koi itna sadist kaise ho sakta hain.

We could have had a beautiful love story with Imlie finally getting all the happiness and Agastya pampering her to no end but instead we are most probably getting Agastya guiding Imlie to move on from him. Surya will always remain a compromise for Imlie and I hate that because Surya is a gem of a person and he should not be a compromise for anyone.

Loved the whole sequence where Surya serenaded Imlie with the air piano and the whole Jab Kissi Ki tarah song sequence. And Imlie too was totally in the moment and being happy. Finally it was a Do Dil mil Rahe moment.

But nope we had to have Agastya come in and Imlie withdraws from the whole thing. Surya was so totally broken when Imlie ran away. It was heart breaking to see him hurt like that. Agastya's soul wanted to say something to Imlie but she ran off. Bechare neither Imlie nor Agastya deserve this. Writers you deserve all the gaalis that my heart wants to give out today.

The morning after scene was done really well. The awkwardness and Imlie and Surya both trying to put a united front in front of Bulbul's sasural and they going saree shopping. Imlie wanted to clear her stand that whatever happened last night will not happen ever again and bechara Surya was heart broken. Sigh. So here it is - we barrel towards the end and it feels so empty and so dissatisfied. We could have had a love story for ages but nope we are getting some khichdi mix.

@Bold - I know all of us are team Agaslie.. But will slightly disagree with this statement here..

Loving Surya isn't a compromise for Imlie.. Yes, he wasn't her first love.. and yes, she would have been happy with Agastya, had they spent a lifetime together... But they didn't.. and That's that...

Surya has proved time and again, that he shall be going beyond his each and every means.. to be there for Imlie... The amount of selfless love he has shown, I haven't seen in any MLs in recent times in ITV.. (Maybe some like Naitik or Abhinav from Legacy were like that... but I digress..)

Saying that Surya is a compromise, will be belittling his efforts so far.. Someone said earlier, I think it was Ren.. That after killing off Auggy, if the makers want the audience to like Surya, his character has to be impeccable.. There's absolutely zero gunjaaish for him to make any mistakes.. and I must say.. they understood the assignment well.. Surya is written really well.. Not even a chip in his armour..

So No, he is not a compromise.. He is a true partner and a Yin to Imlie's Yang..
