All current international players from overseas need to leave right?

Then our home bread youngsters will get a chance to showcase their talent and win knockoff matches.

Cheers..

That would be great 👍

I'd love to see our youngsters playing the crucial knock off matchessmiley40

T20 WC 2024 squad will not be available in the IPL 2024 from May 22nd (Eliminator) due to the T20I series against Pakistan at home.

I think the board for each nation make this decision. BCCI could decide that all indian players part of T20WC squad has to be in USA to start the training on 24th May for example😝

These players won't be available from 22 May (Elminator) due to 4 T20I Series against Pak at home.

Raji, thats coz Eng is playing a series with Pak from May 22 hence ECB calling back the players.

Other boards' approach to clashes between T20I series and the IPL play-offs have varied. New Zealand fielded a second-string team in Pakistan earlier this month, while the BCB have pulled Mustafizur Rahman out of the IPL early for a series against Zimbabwe. CSA will allow their players to stay in India for the play-offs, despite a clash with a three-match series against West Indies.

Until Palak and you mentioned I did not realise England players are leaving to play a T20 series at home before flying off to WC.
