I never wanted to say this but I thought the exact same thing - Jhanak's mother is selfish to leave her daughter alone in this cruel world, knowing very well that a monster like Tejas is waiting to grab her, knowing that she'll have nobody in the name of family, knowing Jhanak has faced the brunt of her mistakes all her life, and will keep facing it until truth abt her father is out, a father not worth mentioning. I feel nothing but sorry for Jhanak, for everyone she does or doesn't have in her life at this point. I don't know if they deserve Jhanak, but Jhanak sure as hell doesn't deserve such people in her life.
