True and both Devdas and Parineeta is written by the same writer and is set in the backdrop of a 1920's and 1930's Bengal !

ML's are exactly how you have described them Vidya, but they are also complex and weak. And the jealously and lack of trust on the FL lead the ML's to a path of self-destruction and the story ends happily, only when the FL pulls him out of his dilemma and self destructive mode !

The FL's are deeply and forever in love with the ML, no matter what the get in return. The ML's love wholeheartedly but want the FL's only to themselves. And expects the FL to spell it out that "he is her world" and "main sirf apki hu" !

One thing is projected in all these stories is that ML’s are very liberal , polished , good hearted, soft spoken etc but they are all shown to be jealous or insecure which masks their good qualities.. I have only seen these two movies and am now watching Jhanak! Their graph is always same!!

I think the makers have a pattern… first run a track with ML , then run the same track but with FL this time , there will be a little change . For eg, first run ani’s hospital track, then run jhanaks hospital track. First make jhanak do Pooja as anis wife, then make ani do Pooja as jhanaks husband. Similarly , first run jhanaks marriage track and then run anis marriage track.

So first jhanak called ani characterless now ani calls jhanak characterless.

Now ani will go, by hook or crook brings Jhanak back home: then because he is still mad at her for allowing Aditya so close to her, he will torture her slowly with his marriage track and PDA with arshi and taunts her in front of her … until the day of marriage , then marriage gets canceled .. either arshi leaves him for better opportunities abroad or he gets married to jahank

The misunderstanding track should have been done with better options .Character and trust is definitely not done at this point of show(after shong showing how much Anirudh trusted her ).

Anirudh ,I dont know what was the need to show him as companion who stood so much with her , was emotionally attached ,Belived her , supported her , but didnt have TRUST on her .

Even a simple friendship is based on mutual trust.

Writers are showing so much contradiction to Anirudh's character . Worst is he thinking Arshi and Shristi was right about her.

This time please show her leave and establish herself by her own . Enough of this egoistic , conditions appy help.

The writers might have thought we showed so much arguments between them so let them not fight anymore.

When their arguments or fighting was most needed they decided to mute it !!!!!!

He is that egoistic ,Aditya showed him mirror . Now atleast he should try to understand how Jhanak feels when his family tortures him .

Aditya is good villian than the normal taunts and insults he was good to watch . Inspite of Jhanak rejecting he was ignoring her so much and continuing in her room.

Trust is shaken , Jhanak should really really leave this time.

No bashing please , I loved how Anirudh knocked the door and after knocking puy his ears on door to eaves drop. 🤗🤭❤️

This guy has lost his sense in his anger. I think it had all started from him seeing the fotos. There itself he had lost it. He didn’t expect Janak to shoot romantic shots very comfortably. It started from there and things escalated when he saw both of them together.

Why did we even expect Ani to be any better

He has already done this before, he'll keep doing this again and again!

But one thing is for sure Ani is toxic, has no control on his emotions. He is toxic for both Arshi and Jhanak. He manipulates one and abuses the other

Poor Jhanak said the right things, she is being abused because she is poor and helpless. Ani would never say that to Arshi!

I think Ani Arshi marriage track is on the way and probably the marriage might even happen.

Dialogue of the day - Jo insaan ek baar galti karta hai, vo baar baar galti karne se nahi darta. Shristi is an intelligent woman, she knows Ani well.

I will say I'm tired and extremely tired discussing this show there's no hope at all it keeps going forward and backward so nothing happens.

Anirudh convincing to bring her back , but with his expression in precap doesnt look like he wants her back in his life .

That is better , we will get to see Jhanak flourishing on her own.
