In rishta verse out of sight is out of mind. Which husband prays that his wife should get a most loving and wonderful life partner ? I think Shivji must have been most impressed by this unique prayer and said tatasthu knowing that there could not be a more loving husband than he, who thought his wife deserved better than him !

What I dont understand is his confusion

He's uncomfortable with Ruhi cornering him and flirting.

But he was very emotional just few days back in tenple and ready to write Shiv shakti and was emotionally saying " mere bass mein hota mein tumhe sad nahi hone deta" blah blah.

He was giving Ruhi non verbal communication when ganghor was announced. They were having eye lock and he was looking at her as if Ruhi was his wife who was upset and he needed to reassure her with aankhon aankhon mein ishaara.

He was uncomfortable being asked to pehnao dupatta to Abhira with his name. He was hesitant and he even said he'd pray for Abhira to get a loving partner.

But then minutes later he is looking completely unfazed making murti or doing dance or even being teased about being in love with Abhira. He was not uncomfortable with holding Abhira to save her and cleaning her face in public while everyone is seeing that as pda and smiling.

Everyday , infact every hour theres a different reaction from him towards both women.

He has no guilt whatsoever when Rohit is brought up or when he sees Abhira cluelessly encouraging Ruhi ka pyaar etc.

I do have questions-

Was Armaan passing by Ruhis room to console her but didn't go in seeing Abhira?

Was the extra mitti he bought supposed to be for Ruhi but he gave it to Abhira only because she gave part of her share to Ruhi?

@bold: I would like to think so too but maybe not. He agreed to marry Ruhi but he doesn’t care for her that much. Also, I rewatched that scene he saw Abhira give mitti to Ruhi so he got more for Abhira.

yes, his behavior is utterly confusing. If you observe all the moments that sparked love in Abhira’s heart, it was always Armaan who initiated them: the forehead kiss, catch and fall, caressing her, getting her ready, accidental kiss and lastly that dialogue after the blast( “tumhe kuch ho Jata to mer jata”). He has been constantly giving her hopes.

Yeah but was he even passing by her room to console Ruhi in the first place - we dont know. The mitti arrangement - whether that was done before or after he saw Abhira give mitti is also not known. We are assuming he just happened to see Abhira do a good deed and immediately arranged more mitti for her. But it could well be that he was planning to go console Ruhi and arrange mitti for her but since Abhira already took care of it, he didn't need to.

Hes leading on Abhira and its not fair :(

It's as if he is the prime example of an AA. Has he ever done anything "Achcha" apart from putting her down for "being in the wrong place at the wrong time" or because he is a pro at "shutting her up"?

She also doesn't need him to take a stand for her. She is the kind who, for other's good, will leave and be on her own because she doesn't need anyone.

Has he ever acknowledged all the good she has done for his family members??

Has he ever made her feel that she is important, even as a friend??

She doesn't need a male nanny; she needs a partner. And I am sure she can choose one for herself.

He can go, f**k himself for all I care.
