Anuj and Shrew don’t have a typical loving live in relationship as has been shown so far. They have separate rooms, he is uncomfortable with physical proximity with her and to all purposes it looks like a platonic relationship. How she came to live with Anuj and Aadhya, has not yet been told.
Shrew also knows Anuj is still stuck on Anupama, the pic in the back of the frame, pic in his wallet, his running to Anupama at every turn, him telling Shrew he is still glued to his past, there is no cheating per se on his part.
