How misleading can one be? They got no limits when it comes to misleading the audience. They literally kept playing the promo where savi and ishaan play ram and sita and they still had the guts to show reeva as sita. It felt like they did this play keeping the third angle in mind. Ki chalo dono ki hi thoda thoda sita maa bana do. Dono hi khush ho lo. So weird.
Why did i think that they weren't gonna mislead us this time?
they took ramayan for a ride today. i know it's fiction and all that but I feel like there should be some consideration from makers when it comes to religious symbolism kyuki religion se logo ki emotions judi hoti hai.
it was so weird to see an enactment of ramayan with a full-on love triangle. in that play, didn't ramji promise to marry somebody and then married somebody else? ladkya is a mortal and a flawed human toh samajh aata hai ki woh aisa bakwas kyu karta hai lekin while playing ram ji in a play, uski real life mirror karni zaroori thi?
and casting reeva as sita in the first place is so gross. lagta hai makers ko khud nahi pata fl kon hai aur pl kon hai.
and I loved when chinmay called out ishaan for his gharwali and baharwali, I love chintu getting reality checks.
It was hilarious to see Gomatha struck dumb by the looks of Ram and Savi had to salvage the situation by delivering the forgotten dialogue and ofcourse garlanding her husband.
It reminded me of nursery kids forgetting their cue searching for their family in the audience Durva , Sara, Rahul and Mrs Paranjpe had no idea of brains and stage presence required to adapt to miscues. Definitely Gomatha can only Gawk at Ishaan
Ghum 2 was always messed up..now this is even worse. They made Reeva Sita and then Savi said the dialogue and put garland while the play is going on 🙄
