In the end of the day Ani is not a playboy. So to him to think that he can suddenly fall in love with his GF's sister is probably a very unbearable thought. Matlab ek tarah se, I think when he realizes that he will probably hate himself for it, will feel bad for Arshi and try to distance himself from Jhanak. So i think even if he is feeling love for Jhanak, attracted to her, his heart and mind are not aligned. He is only a human being. But of course, because of his confusion, he is causing Jhanak a lot of pain and suffering and that is just hard to watch.

So i guess sometimes i dont like his actions but Ani being ani and Krushal being an amazing actor, its hard completely hate him!
