Akhaara is actually doing pretty solid on Green even though it’s past its 25th episode. Same to same team as Abdullah Pur Ka Devdas - writer, director - but Green beat Zee Zindagi

It’s gotten over 4 M views consistently despite multiple plot twists and changes in premise. I haven’t seen APKD but I would imagine Bilal would have pulled a lot more which he didn’t. And Akhaara is pretty much an ensemble cast drama which is working well surprisingly. All characters are written well and it’s fast paced and engaging. Anjum still needs to do better with extras and fight sequences though but the world building has been great. Even a character who was only in 4 episodes has given a memorable performance.

Just goes to show you basically need a good script, effort put into world building and actors all around who can deliver. Same thing happened with Khaie. Over here, from Hina Afridi to waseem abbas to srha Asghar to faraaz Farooqi - people who aren’t even Feroze - truly did exceptional in this. Feroze is actually the weakest link imo but still, he’s brought some audience pull for sure. But people stayed for the plot.

I only liked him in Mein BTS and pics he posted, rest didn't like how he looked in drama

Feroze has always been a bigger star than Bilal. Before IM, Bilal didn’t have a single drama in the top 15. Even Wahaj has EEW, MPHT and now Mein apart from TB.

We accept it or not but feroz has great fan following even after so many scandles. He was a bigger star than Wahaj and bilal..

Wahaj pulled in more views for MPHT while TB was airing simultaneously. The hype trickled over to the pretty average show that MPHT was to a larger extent than IM hype trickled over to APKD 🤷‍♀️…. Same deal that they were both airing simultaneously.

Which is why I compared it also to the same writer director team doing another show which is Akhaara on a new channel Green which is doing better than APKD too. It’s pretty odd? Not like IM is without its flaws too but it’s doing okay so I wonder if it’s just the Bilal effect there or the chemistry effect. Because same folks should be watching APKD but clearly not enough are.

Feroze ka tou I don’t even know. Both shows of his which are going well - Khumaar gets around 7-8 M and it’s past its 45th episode 🤦🏻‍♀️ 😳 and Akhaara is going well too at 4 M which is amazing for Green. But for me personally I don’t give him the credit for it because the hook points for me are not his characters in either of these shows. Akhaara is a solid ensemble cast drama which had a different plot which works , and Khumar’s main are the two female leads who are carrying the show 🤭😂

MPHT actually had a better start than TB in terms of trps. Obviously the hype from TB helped it later.
