I can dil par patthar rakh ke convince myself that he is not obliged to love Abhira back but can we atleast get clarity on where he stands with Ruhi exactly

On one hand he says she is never gonna be more than Rohit ki wife. Says nothing can ever happen between us.

On the other hand he says- I cant see you sad so I will talk about divorce with Abhira .

Please decide karlo- Rohit is gone for a while now, Ruhi is itching to marry him , 1 year shaadi deal is almost ending. what is he waiting for?

I honestly would understand his dilemma if he was trying to decide between 2 arranged marriage prospects. but in his case he supposedly loved Ruhi- so it should be comparatively easier to decide if he still loves her or not. he may not love Abhira but if he knows whether he still loves Ruhi or not, he can decide based on that.

Why are they not showing that conflict

I would empathize with him as a character is they showed that conflict in his head instead of other things. He should ask himself- does he really love Ruhi enough to marry her even now ?

Because if he doesnt plan to marry Ruhi, what is the point. he'd rather do something concrete to make himself unavailable so that she leaves him and both of them can get over each other.

And I dont mind him breaking Abhiras heart as much as I love her as long as he is respectful and honest with her. She deserves full truth from him with a full explanation. She is really level headed, mature girl- she will understand

The basic premise itself is so messed up. When you decide to end a relationship- you need to concretely make yourself unavailable to them for sometime so that both parties can get over the other. But both of them are playing dosti dosti and Armaan goes from clearly rejecting her to then running behind her,panicking for her like an aashiq.

are they planning to show a compare and contrast again of how both women deal with heartbreak- with maturity and grace vs guilt tripping and emotional manipulation.

I don’t know whether Arman is over Ruhi or not( lagta to nahi hai uski harkaten dekh ke) but one thing is now absolutely clear - Arman doesn’t have any romantic feelings for Abhira. The sooner the latter gets to know about the DP, the better it will be for her well being.

Ok just saw Ruhi dialogue accusing Arman of using all his energy to hide their love and Arman kinda agrees. So, from this conversation alone, it looks like Arman still harbors feelings for Ruhi.

Actual plot twist is that armaan won't be able to talk about divorce to abhira. Abhira will help dadisa & unki aankhon ka taara bann jayegi, & armaan ko uspe pyar aayega cos she helped dadisa. N divorce topic will be brushed under carpet.

Yeh story kabhi move nahi hone waali. I just wish woh kidnapper ko armaan ruhi ka sach pata ho n atleast woh abhira ko bata de sab kuch sach sach 🤦‍♀️.
