Bollywood has a mismanagement problem. Too much money on shitty films which inevitably flop which scares producers and then genuinely good movies don’t get a chance. This is why Ranveer is sitting at home, half the movies get greenlit and are sitting without funding.

BW needs to stop cannablizing itself and start being more pragmatic. I think KJos tweet a few days ago makes a lot of sense now, and is likely targeted towards movies like this…

Why are the producers even paying 160 crores to Akshay when his presence can't provide even 10% of his ridiculously high salary as the opening day ROI?

15 crore seems like a decent opening compared to what other Akshay movies have been doing..15 crore is not too bad for someone who is giving 2 crore opening consistently...
