Kareena is killing it in this phase of her career. It's crazy to think that she will complete 25 years in 2025, with a prosperous career behind her, and there's no looking back for her.

The only other female stars with this much of contiguous longevity were Hema, Rekha and Sridevi.

Hema (1968 debut) had a solid run as a lead actress, but she had to move on to doing mommy roles by late 80s/early90s, by the time she completed in 20 years.

Rekha (1969 debut, 1970 Bollywood debut) was the first to complete the 25 years mark. But the industry was not kind to her in the beginning, and in her later years in the 90s when she was relegated to doing Grade B roles. If only OTT existed back then Rekha would have completed 30 years too, considering she looked terrific during the 90s, and did not move to mommy roles until the 2000s.

Sridevi (1976 adult role debut) also worked for overall 21 years until her retirement in 1997, and she had the most celebrated film career across multiple industries.

Not to mention that these Rekha, Hema and Sridevi actresses did all of this at a time, when Bollywood was organized and not even an "industry". Also, ageism for actresses was at its peak back them.

Actresses having 25+ years of career should've been normal from the start, but better late than never.

PC completed 20 years overall as an actress last year, and Katrina completes 20 years in 2024.

I am sure more actresses will follow suit in the coming years.

Tabu also completes 30 years in Bollywood in 2024, with no significant gaps or breaks in-between, but sadly her career is not celebrated like that of a superstar.

I would credit crew to all three. Kriti is coming off a career high with TBMAJ. Tabu is on the biggest career high of her career with 3 back to back success. And from the announcement of the cast, there has been immense interest in this film. Prime example of how if you nail the casting, you already have a winner. But I'm happy for Bebo to have this success in her cap.

What's truly remarkable about this is that Kareena was completely written off after 2013 when Deepika took over. But today, the tables have completely turned. For a Bollywood actress to score a record-breaking opening at the age of 43 with two kids – now that's absolutely brilliant.

And no, that's not to downplay Tabu or Kriti's contributions. Funny how the same trolls who were unfairly criticizing Kareena and Kriti for no reason before the movie came out are now suddenly worried about Tabu and Kriti. Anything to pit women against each other, it's really sad. Crew is a team effort, and all the ladies, including Ekta and Rhea, share in its success.

Jaane ja would have tanked if released in theaters

Bringing Alia here , sadak would have tanked as well in theaters

Veer de shaadi and crew trailers , with raunchy songs , ladies presentation/ looks, glamour grabbed eyeballs and bingo it opens big .

If deepika , Katrina or even vidya balsn were in crew with that trailer it would have opened good

Not taking away from anything from crew leadings tho. Just my thought

Yes, Rani too. She is in a league of her own.

Unfortunately, the industry makes it a big deal for actresses taking 3-4 year break, where as actors get away with it breaks.

E.g. SR, Aamir, Ranbir all took long breaks, but their gaps do not seem to affect their longevity.

But Ali & Deepika are credited for their every their success film. So why not for her? And for her she deserves Best credit, she didn't have neither Star Director, Production nor Actor
